you (I sincerely hope) know, are writers and poets of fairly recent date — the last 30 or 40 years. The second, naturally (at least I hope, naturally), are classical writers.
Now, I can't be accused of selecting a group who could not be expected to know these men, past and present greats in the world of literature, because I selected only those whom I knew to be intelligent and competent in their everyday endeavors.
And that's what has had me on the verge of panic as to how even Ayn Rand.
We are going to have the time to read them. Who says "I don't need else's ideas to form my own not only ignorant of the fundamental psychology, dangerous to himself and in general. Ideas, good and engender more ideas; some good from bad and vice versa.
Go to the nightclub beaches, drive along scenic and in general, live a fun for in the final analysis, experience is the best thing but always keep in mind

are subdivision difficulties should it later be decided that the units are to be sold separately, shares of each unit owner in upkeep and care, the difficulty of equal division of taxes, and shares in fire insurance should a fire occur and the duplicate development not be rebuilt.
The Lehmer development, represented by Rothman, Steen, Associates, Anaheim, calls for 74 units on 13.85 acres. These units, basically, are intended to have two bedrooms and two baths and will cost approximately $17,500. The entire area of 13-plus acres will be fenced off from surrounding area by a wall.
Common Green
Included will be a common green which is intended as a recreation area with a swimming pool and recreation building, common lawn area between houses, and a cooperative garage for several units, as well as a private street which will open onto Katella.
The cost of upkeep of all common property will be borne by an association of the homeowners in the development, including the common green the street, lawns, and taxes.
A person buying into the area will attain rights to a dwelling unit and undivided interest in all things held in common by the association. In addition to making whatever payments are necessary for his own home, he will also pay for the purchase, upkeep, and taxes of the common area on a share basis.
Initially, intention is to rent the units at an approximate cost of

We seem to be living in a world where ignorance in intellectual prowess is not only conceived, but, in many cases, even judged. This is one reason why Europeans look down on us with such distain, including the Russians — and they are justified.
Those Americans who think right and strength is sufficient right to remember that, next to dinosaur, primitive man was dying, but by virtue of his inductual ability, man is still found while the rumbling reptiles have faded into legend and bad bones.
So, please, along with your owner's Club Card, add a library card to your wallet. It will least, ease some of the guilty feeling I have when I write something in this column which might possibly entice you away from a GOOD book.
Use Parade Selects Home for Next Year
"Memorable Moments" has been chosen as the theme of the Tournament of Roses next year's Day in Pasadena, it was announced by Stanley Lahn, Association President.
The winning idea, selected from 7,000 entries sent in from all of the country, was submitted by Mrs. Mary C. Gaffney, Glenn Summer Road, Pasadena.

A person buying into the area will attain rights to a dwelling unit and undivided interest in all things held in common by the association. In addition to making whatever payments are necessary for his own home, he will also pay for the purchase, upkeep, and taxes of the common area on a share basis.
Initially, intention is to rent the units at an approximate cost of $175 per month Later, they may be sold at the estimated value of $17,500.
Subdivision Problems
It is here, at the sale of the units, where Chandler anticipates difficulty in subdividing the property to meet the standard requirements.
Chandler forsees the greatest difficulty, however, for the Ardmore Development Company's intention to construct a two-story planned unit development on property located 100 feet from Catalpa Ave., bounded on the east by Chippewa St. The south by the Orange County Flood Control Channel and the southwest by the Santa Ana Freeway.
Final disposition of the conditional use permit has been postponed until Tuesday's council meeting for the purpose of consolidating the requirements set by the Planning Commission and the council. Passage, however, seems certain.
The development calls for 446 apartments on 27 acres of land, with prices for the apartments varying from $12,000 to $28,000. Cost is estimated to be about $9 million.
Space will range from 700 to 1,700 sq. ft., with 700 to 1,300 as average.
Underground Parking
Breakdown calls for 230 2-bedrooms, 106 1-bedrooms, 110 3-bedrooms, and 12 studio town houses. Another feature is subterranean parking under the building, calling for excavation five to six feet below the normal grade. Also included will be a recreation area.
Chandler sees difficulty in inequality of division of taxes and upkeep shares among the members of the association. "Equal division of the cost between the owners of the various priced units will be hard to accomplish," he said.

GI Loans Out For Some Vets
The doors of the GI Loan Program will close for certain veterans of World War II on July 5th of this year, according to Mort Webster, Manager of VA's Southern California Regional Office.
By recent legislation, Congress enacted a "phase-out" formula for setting the last date certain veterans could apply for a VA-guaranteed loan.
"Here is how it works," Webster explained. "The veteran has ten years from the date of his discharge from his last period of active service, plus an additional year of eligibility for each three months of active wartime service."
For some World War II veterans that deadline is going to come on July 25, 1962. For others may be July 25, 1967, which is the outside limit.
"If veterans do not know just how this cut-off date applies, VA's southern California Regional Office Contact Service will be glad to discuss the problem," Webster said.
