Junior Ebells Finish Projects
At their annual work night, members of the Junior Ebell Club stuffed 5,000 Easter Seal envelopes to distribute to school children and completed 171 stuffed dolls for the Salvation Army to give to needy children in Anaheim next Christmas. Also, under the direction of Mrs. Phillip Roseberry, international affairs chairman, fifty books were wrapped for mailing to India.
Members have voted to contribute $100 to the American Field Service charity fund. And $10 is being donated to the Dr. Tom Dooley cancer project, Medico.
Mrs. Robert Webb, youth chairman, is in charge of the club-sponsored "Teen Age Miss" contest to be conducted in the local high schools. The winner will receive a $25 defense bond from the Junior Ebells and go on to represent the club in the Orange District contest.
The club has elected to submit the name of Mrs. Richard Jackson as a candidate for third vice-president of C.F.W.C. Orange District for 1962-1963.
