Writers' Forum To Hear Ray Bradbury Here Monday Ray Bradbury, one of America's most acclaimed — and busiest — writers, will speak in Anaheim Monday night. Long, a favorite author in fantasy and science-fiction circles, Bradbury has just wound up a year of highly diversified writing, beginning with the narration script for the MGM production, King of Kings. Since that time, he has been completing a 3-year project, a new novel to be issued by Simon and Schuster this year. Five Bradbury one-act plays open in London this summer. On the Paris stage, a dramatization of the book that gained him an international audience ten years ago, The Martian Chronicles, will be presented by Jean Louis Barrault. He is now at work on two short films, one of which will be a documentary on the thermonuclear war based on the study, Community of Fear, by Harrison Brown and James Real. His popular earlier works include Fahrenheit 451, Dandelion Wine, A Medicine for Melancholy, The Illustrated Man, and the screenplay for Moby Dick. Bradbury will speak at 8 p.m. at an open meeting of the Orange County Writers Forum at the Unitarian Church, 1120 W. Santa Ana St., Anaheim. The Church is located on the east side of the Santa Ana Freeway at the Santa Ana St. overpass.
