Reinacker, advisor; Miss Virginia Turner, Large Order for George Lee The nationally known taxidermist, with establishments in both Hawaii and Costa Mesa, has started to work on one of the largest orders of the year. The well known "Sea Shanty," a top ranking restaurant specializing in fine seafoods, located on Newport Harbor's fisherman's wharf adjoinning Newport's largest sportfishing landing, "Davey's Locker," placed the order. Dorothy Burge, general manager of the Sea Shanty, has placed an order with George Lee and Associates, taxidermists, for several dozen mounted specimens of fish, both local and very rare types caught in the Pacific fishing grounds, here and in Hawaii. On the walls of the new marine dining room just completed the Sea Shanty display of mounted fish will include dolphin, trigger fish, parrot fish, moon and sun fish, wahoo, roosterfish, cuda, amberjack, broadbill, marlin, sailfish and the many game fish caught along the California coast. Viewing this display will be a treat to any sportfisherman or other person interested in marine life or oceanography which is basic to all life. Nurseryman Rep Unlike the politician, the nurseryman has a "worst enemy" for which he can spray. So report Mr. and Mrs. Harold J. Botts, owners of Boits Nursery, who have just returned from the Santa Barbara convention of the California Association of Nurserymen. "Public Enemy Number One" of the California grower is the Japanese beetle, according to the convention's featured speaker, Robert W. Harper, chief of the state bureau of entomology. "He described the state agriculture department's fight County Judges Named Governor Edmund G. Brown has announced the appointment of four Superior Court judges for Orange County. Named for the newly-created posts were: Attorney Samuel Dreizen, 46, 711 W. 10th St., Santa Ana. Warren Ferguson, 40, Municipal Judge of the Anaheim-Fullerton Judicial District, 865 Grandview Ave., Fullerton. Stephen K. Tamura, 49, Orange County Counsel, 1023 W. McFadden St., Santa Ana. Lester Van Tatenhove, 47, 2227 N. Rosewood Ave., Santa Ana. The four judgeships for Orange County were created by Public Defender-Legal Aid Association; member of the executive committee of the Orange County Bar Association; member legislative committee State Bar of California; lecturer for State Bar Committee on Continuing Education of the Bar, and examiner for the State Bar Association. For the last three years he has been a member of the Orange County Democratic Central Committee. He has one son, Erin, 11. FERGUSON Judge Ferguson is a native of Nevada where he attended public schools and the University of Nevada. He served in North Africa and Italy in World War II and after the war entered the University of Southern California law school. He was admitted to the Bar in 1950 and entered private practice in Fullerton, being appointed municipal judge in 1959. He was the city attorney for Buena Park, Placentia. Award of the Japanese American Citizens' League for 1959-60 and has been a member of the League, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Lions Club. He lives with his wife, Kay, and two children, Susan Jane, 14, and John David, 10, in Santa Ana. VAN TATENHOVE Van Tatenhove practices law at 409 First Western Bank Building, Santa Ana. He was born in Michigan in 1914 and attended public schools and Hope College in Holland. He was graduated from Harvard in 1939 and moved to California that year, settling in Santa Ana in 1940 where he entered private practice. During the war he served as a captain in the Signal Corps with service on Okinawa. He is married an dhas four children. For many years he was active in the Democratic Party and was a candidate for the Assembly in 1950 and 1952. He is chairman of the County Cen- Warren Ferguson, 40, Municipal Judge of the Anaheim-Fullerton Judicial District, 865 Grandview Ave., Fullerton. Stephen K. Tamura, 49, Orange County Counsel, 1023 W. McFadden St., Santa Ana. Lester Van Tatenhove, 47, 2227 N. Rosewood Ave., Santa Ana. The four judgeships for Orange County were created by the 1961 Legislature. "These four men have demonstrated that they have outstanding ability as attorneys and knowledge of the law," the governor said. "All four are leaders in their community and I'm confident they will make a significant contribution to the Bench in Orange County." DREIZEN Dreizen is a partner in the law firm of Dreizen and Corfman of Santa Ana and has a long record of service with various bar associations. He is a graduate of Modesto High and Junior College and took his law degree at Hastings College of Law at the University of California in 1937. He went into practice in Santa Ana in 1938, served overseas during World War II with the Air Force, and re-entered practice in Santa Ana at the end of the war. From 1945 to 1955 he was Assistant Public Defender and for the last two years served as a director of the 32nd Agricultural District. He has been legal adviser to the League of United Latin American Citizens; vice-president of the Pub- TAMURA Tamura was born in Orange County on October 25, 1911, attended Huntington Beach High School, Santa Ana Junior College, Pomona College and the law schools of the University of California and Harvard. From 1938 to 1941 he was in private law practice in Santa Ana. During World War II he served as sergeant with the famed 442nd Regimental Combat Team in Italy. He was with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management and the Securities Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C., from 1944 to 1948 and was successively Deputy County Counsel and Assistant County Counsel for Orange County from 1948 through 1960. Last year he was appointed County Counsel. He won the Distinguished Achievement in Nevada where he attended public schools and the University of Nevada. He served in North Africa and Italy in World War II and after the war entered the University of Southern California law school. He was admitted to the Bar in 1950 and entered private practice in Fullerton, being appointed municipal judge in 1959. He was the city attorney for Buena Park, Placentia, Santa Fe Springs, Rosemead, Walnut, Baldwin Park and La Puente, serving all but one of them simultaneously at the time of his first appointment. He is married to the former Laura Keyes and has four children, Faye, 11, Jack, 9, Teresa, 8, and Peter, 6. 6 Countries Send Students to OCS Seven foreign students are among the 1,621 enrolled at Orange County State this semester, according to Dr. Lester M. Beals, associate dean of students. The seven represent six different countries. Coming to OCSC from Lebanon are Munir Zacharia Khuri and Antoun Abdallah Saadeh, who are currently rooming together in Fullerton. The Middle East is also represented by Ertugrul Dalkiran of Akhisar, Turkey, while Kelorah Maud Franklin halls from British Honduras, much nearer the United States. At opposite corners of the world are Hashem Mohamad Maadi of Shiroz, Iran; Hans Neidermayer of Raymand, Alberta, Canada; and Seung Ha Rhee of Seoul, Korea.
