NEW HOME—Selling features of Summer Hills, new Bronze Medallion development in Orange, are discussed by Irving C. Jordon (left), co-developer, and Joseph A. Long, district manager of Southern California Edison Company, which has awarded the Medallion emblems to the homes for their high built-in electrical quality. ANAHEIM COMMENT SP Moves Center to SCHOOLS ... (Continued from Page 1-A) KE 5-7202, 7:55 a.m. An extended day program will handle Sycamore students. SYCAMORE JUNIOR HIGH 1801 E. SUMMER HILLS ANAHEIM COMMENT Despite the New Frontier's attempt to replace the Boy Scout movement, it still remains one of the most active and important groups in our city. Since many of our readers in one way or another are tied up with this movement, we thought it would be interesting to print a report on the Boy Scouts as Pravda, the official Russian "house organ," sees them: A Pravda survey reveals that in organization called the Boy Scouts is turning American youngsters into hostile, war-mongering imperialists. Every boy is forced into joining the Boy Scouts and is trained to be a master of all forms of espionage, violence, and germ warfare. He quickly becomes a very dangerous tool of the ruthless United States government. At the age of 8 or 9, innocent American boys are forcibly herded into an organization known as the Cub Scouts, which prepares them for future foul deeds. The Cub Scout dictators force the youth to worship the wolf, one of the most vicious and uncivilized of predatory animals. After three years of service in the Cub Scouts, the boys, now hooligan adolescents, are forced to join the older more corrupt Boy Scouts. The most deceitful ritual is the shameful "Court of Honor" where the young war-mongers are decorated with so-called Merit Badges. It is here they receive awards for their work in such insidious fields as "Swimming" (under water demolition) SP Moves Center to Anaheim Southern Pacific's transportation center for Orange County today is operating from its new headquarters building at 1631 S. Lewis St., Anaheim. The facility includes a modern terminal owned by SP's truck subsidiary, Pacific Motor Trucking Co., with a total of 25 truck or trailer spots on three sides of the all-weather freight dock. Sharing modern, air conditioned offices at the front of the new terminal building are Robert D. Meecham, PMT terminal manager; Henry E. Freeman, SP district freight and passenger agent George K. Moran, SP assistant district freight and passenger agent; and Robert J. Dryden, PMT traffic representative for the county. The new headquarters replaces the SP facilities at 426 E. 4th St. and those of PMT at 401 S. Artésia St., Santa Ana. The new telephone numbers are KEllogg 2-6731 for SP and KE 2-6366 for PMT. The Anaheim property is more centrally located for serving all Orange County shippers and also places SP rail and truck personnel conveniently under a single roof. Southern Pacific and Pacific Motor Trucking work closely as a team, especially in the popular piggyback freight service where coordinated rail and truck movements are involved. The large truck turning area is blacktopped. Attractive landscaping now going in will soon put the finishing touch on the transportation center. The terminal is on Southern Pacific's 200-acre industrial tract in South Anaheim. Just recently opened in this modern school... After three years of service in the Cub Scouts, the boys, now hooligan adolescents, are forced to join the older more corrupt Boy Scouts. The most deceitful ritual is the shameful "Court of Honor" where the young war-mongers are decorated with so called Merit Badges. It is here they receive awards for their work in such insidious fields as "Swimming" (under water demolition and sabotage); "Chemistry" (germ and poison gas warfare); "Pathfinding" (counter espionage); and "Pioneering" exploitation of under developed nations). In their effort to completely control American youth, the Scout cars have also set up a sister organization called the "Girl Scouts." This ill-conceived group turns young girls into unpaid door to door cookie venders. The proceeds of these sales, of course, go directly to the Wall Street master minds of the entire plot. From where we stand, if Pravda keeps it up, the U.S. may have found a new secret weapon. Promotion J. E. "Joe" McQuillkin has been named assistant cashier and operations officer of the Buena Park office the United States National Bank according to an announcement made today by E. C. Aldrich, regional vice president. Tamasha Dining Service Extended By popular demand the Tamasha Town and Country Club of Anaheim has extended the service of late afternoon and evening dining to include Saturdays, effective now. According to Ken Cawthra, general manager of the Tamasha, the recently inaugurated dinner policy, which was intended to serve on Friday nights only, has been such an overwhelming success that Tamasha will now be open from 4 until 11 p.m. on Saturday nights also. Daily lunchon service Monday through Friday is from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features "surprise" continental dishes and complimentary wines on Monday. New Health Plan Offered Here Introduction of a new health plan for individuals and families which provides full payment of surgical and in-hospital medical services covered by the contract is currently being launched in Orange County.
