Bailey, supervisor of the junior departments of the 1961 Orange County Fair, announced the blue, red and white ribbon winners in the 4-H and FFA Dairy Cattle division, and the 4-H Dairy Goat winners. Future Farmers throughout the county, taking awards included Max Raum of 1950 E. Sycamore, Anaheim. Charles Cassop of 23472 Santa Ana Canyon Rd., Anaheim—member of the Yorba Linda Cloverleaf 4-H Club—took a third for his dairy holstein Williams of 923 N. Alamo St., Anaheim. Anaheim Korn Poppers 4-H Club members taking awards were Sheila Dooley of 842 S. Knott Ave., Buena Park; Melvin McGaughy of 910 S. Western Ave., Anaheim; and George Stouder of 3352 W. Orange Ave., Anaheim. POULTRY J. J. Wolfe, supervisor of the Poultry Department, announced senior poultry winners along with the 4-H Poultry awards. George and Ted Stouder, 3352 W. Compared with Friday's market "going-prices" of 18 cents per lb. for sheep; 19 cents lb. for hogs; and 24½ cents lb. for beef, the 4-H Clubs and Future Farmers of America—selling a total of 220 ribbon animals to service show—a made possible through the designing magic of Harry and Josephine Macres and hundreds of commercial, amateur and junior exhibitors—was probably the most spectacular show of its kind at the 1961 fair. The committee, helping Macres with the fair's successful competitive Floriculture Dept., included Mrs. Horace Woods of Anaheim, clubs and societies and Mrs. Larry Sligar of Anaheim; amateur arrangements. Anaheim award winners were Carol A. Heffner and Richard W. West of the Golden Lion Florist, 931 S. Gilbert St., with awards to $90; and Macres Florists of 701 W. Center St. took three awards to $80. The Junior Division of the Floriculture Dept., under the chairmanship of Mrs. Lowell Schultz of Santa Ana, is open to junior gardeners six years of age through 16 years and recognized youth groups of Orange County. The Future Farmers of America and the 4-H Clubs also show their entries in the floriculture division in the Floral Pavilion. Anaheim FFA winners were John Buckner, Elwood Miller and Dick Roach. Orange Ave. AMATEUR DIVISION An amateur gardener—in the Orange County Fair's Floriculture Dept.—is defined as "one who grows plants by his own effort for pleasure and whose Ticket Sale Started for College Play Tickets for the Orange Coast College production of "Li'l Abner" went on sale at the college's auditorium box office beginning Monday. ROXEY IRVING REYNOLDS Funeral services for Roxey Irving Reynolds, 67, of 15842 Anaheim-Olive Road, Anaheim will be conducted today at 2:30 p.m. by Rose Hill Mortuary in Rainbow Chapel with the Tyre Lodge 741, F. & A. M. officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park. Mr. Reynolds, a resident of this area for 15 years, was born in New Mexico and died Monday at Queen of Angels Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Ruby P. Reynolds of the home address. Also surviving are one daughter, Edna V. Gray of South Gate, and one son, Richard I. Reynolds of Spokane, Wash.; five sisters and two brothers. Mr. Reynolds was a maintenance leadman for 12 years with Firestone Tire and Rubber Company.
