Member, California Newspaper Publishers Association More Youth Displays Due for County Fair Visitors to the July 11 to 16 Orange County Fair will see more 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America exhibits in the 1961 Junior Department competition than ever before it was announced today by Stewart W. Yost, fair manager. He said, "One of the principal aims of our fair is its youth participation. The programs aimed at 4-H and FFA encourage youngsters to continue to turn their talents and energies to agricultural life. Fairs give them a chance to show and compare the work they are doing with others." CALENDAR THURSDAY, JUNE 29 Exchange Club, Elks Club, noon. Yost explained that the Junior Department is restricted to members of the Future Farmers of America, who are under the supervision of the Bureau of Agricultural Education, State Department of Education; Future Homemakers of America, who are under the supervision of the Bureau of Homemaking Education, State Department of Education; members of 4-H Club, who are under the supervision of the Agricultural Extension Service, University of California; and members of other recognized junior farm organizations. The FFA is a national organization of boys enrolled in high school vocational agriculture classes. The local unit is the chapter in each high school under the supervision of the agricultur teacher who is always the local chapter adviser. New City Bank Features Display On Jet Travel A bright, red, six-foot display featuring air travel to Europe via Lufthansa German Airlines is attracting attention at the recently opened branch of the U.S. National Bank in Anaheim. The display, intentioned to persuade depositors to save their money for a jet holiday to Europe, was arranged by the World Travel Bureau, Inc., Anaheim, in conjunction with Lufthansa. The display is supplemented by the airline's brochures. City Police Seek Cat-like Burglar Anaheim police today are still seeking a cat-like burglar who took $647 in cash from occupants of six motels in the Disneyland area.
