B-4—Anaheim Gazette Anahiem, Thursday, June 22, 1961 What's Your Postal I.Q.? WEIGHT LIMITS ON INTERNATIONAL PARCEL POST ARE THE SAME TO ALL COUNTRIES YES NO TOO HEAVY? SMALL COUNTRY NO—Weight and size limits for International Parcel Post vary from country to country. If you are not acquainted with weight, size, and other restrictions applicable to the country to which you intend to mail, it is well to obtain this information from your local post office prior to preparing your parcel for shipment. Purposes of County Freedom Forum Viewed (This is one of the series in defining the organization structure and objectives of the Orange County Freedom Americans of the situation in China—a scene he knew would lack credibility without visual evidence—Raisbeck filmed "The Purposes of County Freedom Forum Viewed (This is one of the series in defining the organization structure and objectives of the Orange County Freedom Forum. This group believes that any constituted authority can be subverted and it is only through constant watchfulness by great numbers of citizens that such subversion can be detected and stamped out before it can destroy our Liberties.—Editor's note.) Members of the Orange County Freedom Forum assisted other groups in the county in sponsoring the School of Anti-Communism which drew record attendance at the Disneyland Hotel recently. The school was presented by the Christian Anti-Communism Crusade which is carrying on such activities in all the major cities of the country. A second notable achievement on the Orange County Freedom Forum record was sponsorship of the film entitled "The 11th Commandment," and viewed by thousands of residents of Orange County. The film, produced by Robert Raisbeck, and starring Robert Dix, son of the late film star Richard Dix, was an epic inspired by fate, rather than design. Raisbeck on a junket to Formosa to film a TV adventure pilot series, with no anti-communism crusade under his belt, came face to face with tyranny and mass killing which are daily episodes for the unfortunate Chinese Nationalists. "11th Commandment" Determined to apprise Ameri- icans of the situation in China—a scene he knew would lack credibility without visual evidence—Raisbeck filmed "The 11th Commandment" and returned to the United States. In attempting to distribute his film for public viewing, Raisbeck learned for the first time the extent of Red infiltration in America. Where prior to filming his Red expose, he had practically unlimited credit and an opportunity to produce films whenever he chose to come out of semi-reirement at his Southern California ranch, now no one would deal with him. Try for Film Following months of futilely attempting to distribute his film, at the cost of his entire personal fortune, Raisbeck learned of the mounting anticommunism fight in Orange County. The Orange County Freedom Forum took over and sponsored the showing of "The 11th Commandment." As a result, the film is being shown at the present time throughout the Southwest, being scheduled to play in more than 500 theaters in Texas alone. Contrary to groups who tire of difficult obstacles, the Orange County Freedom Forum thrives on the challenge and is continuing to grow in strength and determination. Their program includes competent speakers at weekly meetings, open to the public at no cost, and films available to any interested groups. Recently, the Freedom Forum opened a public book store in Fullerton, the first of several to be situated in Orange County. Proceeds of the volunteer-operated book store will pay for still more local education. Spokesman of the Freedom Forum emphatically declares: "11th Commandment" Determined to apprise Amerare daily episodes for the unfortunate Chinese Nationalists. They report a single aim: "To preserve the freedoms of our country for posterity." Members As set up in the by-laws, there are two classes of members in the Orange County Freedom Forum. Active members are those "persons who are willing to subscribe to the stated principles and purposes" of the Forum and whose dues are maintained. Sustaining members are those "persons or organizations interested in the work of the corporation and willing to support and subscribe to such work." Each member is entitled to one vote on each matter submitted to a vote of the members. Every member must be elected by an affirmative vote of three-fifths of all the members of the board of directors. The same number of members of the board may suspend or expell any member with or without cause. A member may resign by simply filing a written resignation with the secretary. Queen Contestants Introduced It was an afternoon full of fun for mothers and daughters when queen contestants of the 1961 Orange County Fair attended the annual mother-daughter luncheon held at the Greenbriar Inn, Garden Grove. Designed to introduce queen contestants from throughout the county to each other and to inform their mothers of the aims and wherefores of the fair and Pirate Queen contest, the luncheon is traditionally hosted by the Southern Counties Gas Co. Officials of the utility company also pointed out rules of the Orange Cake and Lemon Pie Baking Contest, a high-light of the July 11 to 16 fair. The baking co-off in three days vigors.
