Hanna Views Dismissal of School Head
Assemblyman Richard T. Hanna (Dem.-Fullerton) today said that "I have recently been notified of the action taken by the Centralia School District Board of Trustees which involved the dismissal of Principal Max Woods, a former candidate for the Congress of the United States.
"It has been intimated that this is an act of political retribution.
"If this should prove to be the case, it would be most unfortunate."

Tickets for the Grad Nite Party, priced at $6 per person, include admission to Disneyland, admission to all Disneyland attractions as many times as desired, dancing, entertainment, a personal souvenir photo, and favors. The party will commence at 11 p.m. and carry on through 5 a.m.

"The California Elementary School Administrators Association, at a recent meeting in Long Beach, adopted as principles a series of resolutions, including one which stated that:
"'Good teaching develops in a climate of freedom from fear of being unjustly discharged, freedom from intimidation by outside pressure groups, and freedom from the risk of losing the opportunity of exercising the rights of citizenship. Legislation designed to promote these conditions should receive the support of CESAA.'"
"I heartily concur with this principle."
