Teams have been divided into Girls' Softball "A", "B" and "C" leagues with the five conferences in the Northern, Southern, Western, Eastern and Mid-City. In the Northern conference girls' ambition, Marshall won out over Price with a score of 19-12. In the Western conference, Schweitzer beat Disney 9-2. "As things now stand, the whole of Orange County, together with a large portion of San Diego County, is represented in Congress by one Representative, James B. Utt, Republican of Santa Ana. "Current plans call for Orange County to be allotted one full Congressional District on the west, while the eastern portion of the county will still remain tied to San Diego County, giving in effect one and one-half districts."
