FLOWERS
Have a message to impart,
Send flowers, they'll carry through,
If glad or sad, any part
They will know just what to do.
In graveyards they cover mounds
To hide the buried grief there,
Their great love utters no sounds,
From the hands who placed them there.
The bride does her bouquet throw,
For some future bride to snatch,
Flowers know just where to go,
The authorized one to catch.
Flowers bring only gladness,
Foreign to them is sorrow,
Far removed is all sadness,
Always joy for tomorrow.
