Prominent Medical Authorities to Speak at St. Jude Hospital Assembly
One of the finest medical programs ever to be presented to the physicians of this area will be held at Fullerton when the second annual St. Jude Hospital Post Graduate Assembly meets today and tomorrow.
The caliber of the meeting was set by the selection of a faculty from among the nation's most prominent medical educators and authorities.
Guest lecturers are: Raymond D. Pruitt, M.D., professor and chairman, Department of Medicine, Baylor University College of Medicine; Frank L. A. Gerbode, M.D., professor of surgery, Stanford University School of Medicine; L. Henry Garland, M.D., clinical professor of radiology, Stanford University School of Medicine; J. Robert Willson, M.D., professor and chairman, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Temple University School of Medicine; H. David Mosier, M.D., assistant professor of pediatrics, UCLA School of Medicine; John R. McDonald, M.D., chairman of Department of Pathology, Harper Hospital, Detroit, and professor of surgical pathology, Wayne University School of Medicine.
In announcing the guest lecturers and discussants, Doctor B. L. Tesman, M.D., chairman of the Assembly, pointed out that "it is a compliment as well as an opportunity for the area to secure so many men of such outstanding ability for a medical meeting without the registrants having to travel to a large metropolitan city. Advance registrations are being taken and will also be available at the door.

Physicians of Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are expected to attend and still be no more than an hour or two from their practices."
One of the most unusual aspects of the meeting is its location. It is to be held in the relaxing western atmosphere of the county's largest recreation center.
