Anaheim Symphony Orchestra, FJC Choir Plan Holiday Performances A cooperative arrangement between the choirs of Fullerton Junior College and the Anaheim Symphony Orchestra was announced this week as the two groups revealed plans to offer two holiday concerts. The joint venture, with more than 130 voices and 60 instruments participating, will include two massed choir numbers and the traditional Christmas opera "Amahl and the Night Visitors." The program is scheduled for a first presentation in Anaheim on Saturday, Dec. 10, followed by Sunday afternoon and evening performances in Fullerton on Dec. 11. Choral work will be under the direction of Kenneth Helvey, FJC music instructor, and Gene Ober will conduct the Anaheim Symphony Orchestra. George Archambeault, drama instructor at FJC, will supervise staging of the opera. Choral groups have started rehearsals each Monday evening. Phillips Chairman of Business Meet An Orange County supervisor and a Bank of America vice-president are among the eight additional workshop chairmen announced for the fourth annual Orange County Management Conference which will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, at Chapman College. William J. Phillips, a member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors since 1956, will lead a workshop on "Orange County by 1970?" Homecoming Plans Made by FJC Alumni Fullerton Junior College Alumni Association this week began preparations for their annual homecoming of FJC alumni. Association officers, led by President LeRoy Lyons Jr., will mail out copies of the alumni news letter to former students and extend invitations to attend the annual alumni Homecoming. The homecoming dinner has been set for the college lounge on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. Robert Larsen, prominent Orange County businessman and former FJC student body president (1940), will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.
