Anaheim Girl Is Honor Student
Nancy Callaham of Anaheim is one of 88 freshmen who have been admitted to Orange Coast College with honors this semester under a new policy honoring students entering with a B or better high school average.
A letter of recognition from Dr. Basil H. Peterson, OCC president, is being mailed this week to the freshmen.
Purpose of the honor to entering freshmen is to give community recognition to superior high school students who enroll at OCC, and to provide an incentive to the students to maintain their superior rating while attending OCC.

Gives Nixon Slight Edge
Richard Nix-that's conducting its own nation-wide poll. Students of the class, instructed by Charles Hushaw, are carefully analyzing polls, samplings, magazines and newspaper opinions and, in many cases, corresponding directly with party officials of various states, to attempt to keep abreast of changing political currents.
