Mrs. Violet Vollbrecht, president, will preside. John Allen, vice-president and program chairman, in announcing the program, says a '27-minute film in sound and color will be presented. Entitled "Water and You," the film tells the story of the proposal to bring Northern California water into the Southland. A $1.75 billion bond issue for the project appears as Proposition 1 on the November ballot—largest bond issue ever to be voted on in California. The complete project indicates the program, says a 27-minute film in sound and color will be presented. Entitled "Water and You," the film tells the story of the proposal to bring Northern California water into the Southland. A $1.75 billion bond issue for the project appears as Proposition 1 on the November ballot—largest bond issue ever to be voted on in California. The complete project indicates that most of the water falls in the north part of the state where the least population is, while Southern California, where most of the population is, receives only two per cent. The film, which Allen is urging all the teachers in Centralia elementary district to see, outlines where water should logically go from north to south.
