The show was excellent. I was surprised along with the rest of the audience when I saw a ER SHOP at 416 E. Center St. in Anaheim. Sally does beautiful work. I HOPE THEY BRING LEFT-OVERS I caught the Christine Jorgensen act a few evenings ago at the LA RONDE RUE. The show was excellent. I was surprised along with the rest of the audience when I saw a beautiful woman with a fabulous wardrobe. She is a terrific entertainer and vocalist (a Marlene Dietrich type). She also did a dramatic bit that would do credit to a Hollywood actress. Christine Jorgensen is not only beautiful but very feminine. She is a top show woman. Tonight is her last night. Be sure to call for reservations. The shows are at 9:30, 11:30 and 1:30. The great Arthur Walsh will be back tomorrow night. I understand he's planning a wonderful act. I plan to attend. Had dinner last weekend at the BRANDING IRON in Orange. We had a magnificent dinner—Chateaubriand for four ER SHOP at 416 E. Center St. in Anaheim. Sally does beautiful work. Featured at the JESTER STEAK HOUSE is Tanya with the Bud Peterson Trio (just in from the HOLIDAY HOUSE in Reno). This is a top group. Don't miss them. Something new has been added for your cocktail hour. You'll be served by that Parisienne doll Suzanne. You fellows had better brush up on your French. Stopped at PAUL'S RESTAURANT with relatives last Sunday for dinner. We had steak, of course, and it was very good. Served on a sizzling platter with relishes, green salad, baked potato with cheese and chives. Where else can you get a terrific steak dinner for $1.95 to $2.25? This very attractive restaurant-bar is owned by Paul Jenner, who also owns PAUL'S SKYROOM in South Gate. One of my favorite eating places is the CHALET RESTAURANT on Katella near Disneyland. This is one of the nicest family restaurants in this area. They specialize in Pancakes (27 varieties) and steaks that are out of this world. For a real taste treat, try their African banana pancake. A heavenly concoction and they are huge. The children love this place with its Swiss atmosphere. Your delightful host is Bob Stewart. DONT FORGET to Christine Jorgensen's rific act at the LA ROSE in Long Beach night is her last performance.
