Dasch. A former German spy tells in his own words of the landing from submarine on a silent darkened coast of North America to commit sabotage against the United States. GERMANY REJOINS THE POWERS by K. Deutsch and L. Edinger. Authors have done a good job in analyzing all the present day influences in the climate of every-day life in Germany today. For the serious reader. THE GOVERNOR AND HIS LADY by Earl Conrad. Lincoln's brilliant and temperamental Secretary of State, William S. Seeward, a man driven by the dream of "manifest destiny" to buy Alaska for the United States. A good readable account of the inside story of the Alaska purchase from the Russians. HUNTING THE HARD WAY by Howard Hill. A new printing of a famous old title where the master of archery tells the reader how to make bows and arrows and how to hunt with them. Contains photos and illustrations. PEACE OR ATOMIC WAR? by Albert Schweitzer. He analyzes the present-day situation of atomic testings and the reason pro and con.
