This cute spot has delicious food and their specialty is prime rib. You'll be entertained by Bill Farrell, that well known man with the nimble fingers. Tasty merchants' luncheons are served daily for 85c. Had lunch today at Stan Rossi's ANSTAY'S STEAK HOUSE. I ordered their tasty 95c merchants' luncheon (this must be for large merchants). This luncheon was not only huge but delicious. It consisted of soup or salad, corned beef and cabbage, mashed potatoes, carrot sticks, tomatoes, and garlic toast. It was not only reasonable but very good. I recommend ANSTAY'S STEAK HOUSE for luncheons as well as steaks and entertainment. Stan Rossi certainly knows his business. He has owned fifteen spots in the last sixteen years. To name two, the RUSTIC ROOM in Lakewood and the DEN in Norwalk. The DOMINO RESTAURANT on Harbor Blvd. now has Latin night every Monday. Stopped there last Monday to hear Joe Loco and his real swinging group. They're great for either dancing or listening. I ran into several fellows I know, Brad Smith, Will Spaulding, etc. Gals, this is the place to stop to meet those handsome men. Your host is Tony Peleggi. It's just like being in Italy. If the weather permits, it's very romantic to sit on the patio and eat their fabulous Italian food and listen to Italian music. JACK'S CORSICAN ROOM on Second St. in Naples is a terrific spot for an evening of fun and food. The specialty of the house is luscious thick, juicy prime rib (served with soup du jour, mixed green salad with choice of delicious dressings, potatoes, dessert and coffee). You can bring the kids too as the dining room area is separate from the bar. For children under 12 dinners are $1.25 (five dinner choices). This includes soup, baked potato or frys, and milk. You'll be royally entertained by Frank Day, well known lyric pianist. Your host is Jack Bass. Had a great time Saturday night at LEILANI HUT in Belmont Shore. Listened to "King" Benny Nawahi at the uke. He's remarakble. One of my favorite numbers is "Lovely Hula Hands." Gordon, the bartender, can really luscious tropical drinks. A good accompaniment to these is the mixed appetizer with ramaki, hagao, shrimp, barbecued ribs and pork, egg roll, etc. All for $1.50. Ask Don May for your gift. I understand the ROBERTS ROOM had a fabulous St. Patrick's Day celebration. This is the place where you can get those tasty frog legs. Served with soup, tossed green salad, and rolls. Only $3.00. Don't forget tonight is the big luau. Better call now for reservations before it's too late. Only $7.50. While at the ROYAL HAWAIIAN I stopped in at the KEY CLUB to say hello to Brad and Len. You'll always find a real friendly group gathered here. Ask them about Claire, the ghost that haunts the ROYAL HAWAIIAN.
