'EARLY AS POSSIBLE' Dr. Wharton pointed out a need to uncover potential delinquencies as "early as possible." She noted for example, that one kindergarten teacher estimated that more than 25 per cent of her class would not ready for school. Mrs. Wharton said adjustments could made much more easily if the children with problems were cated and helped much earlier than they are now.
