Heart Sunday March Is Set
Mrs. George F. Warner, of Garden Grove, 1960 Orange County Heart Sunday chairman, today requested volunteers to assist in the preparation of campaign material for the February Heart Fund drive.
"We ARE in immediate need of volunteer help to put the Heart Sunday kits together and women who can do general office work such as typing, stuffing and sorting of the various materials," Mrs. Warner said, adding that volunteers do not need to have professional experience in these fields. "The more help we can get," she added, "the less each person will have to do. We hope that we will have enough recruits so that no one person will have to devote more than a few hours of time to the project."
MANY GROUPS, such as the Women's Auxiliary to the Orange County Medical association, Senior Citizens, other clubs and organizations, P.T.A. women and scout troops annually participate in this preparatory phase of the campaign, Mrs. Warner said, but volunteers need not be affiliated with a specific group in order to give their time.
"We welcome individuals, as well as organized groups, in this important part of the Heart To Hear Deffner Zion Art Group

This year, Heart Sunday will be Feb. 28, at which time approximately 10,000 volunteers in the various communities throughout the county will go door-to-door to raise funds to support the research, education and community service programs supported by the Orange County Heart association.
Collegians Earn Interim 'Break'
An innovation in the Fullerton Junior College schedule this year will be two-day break Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 1 and 2, designed to allow college IBM machinery to process grades and complete second semester registration of new students. New semester classes will convene Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 8 a.m.
Also new this year are the Saturday, Jan. 27, two-hour final examinations scheduled by several departments, which, with the one day of Saturday examinations scheduled for the close of the second semester in June, will compensate for the two-day break between semesters.
