As both a government-approved and a Piper-approved aircraft and engine repair station, Martin is doing checking and alteration work on the new twin-engine Piper Apache that Dooley will use in his crusade to bring medical aid to the underprivileged people of the island and jungles of Northern Laos. Author of "The Edge of Tomorrow" and the 1955 best seller, "Deliver Me From Evil," the royalties of which he has plowed into his medical fund raising campaign, Dr. Dooley has achieved international prominence and has appeared on many radio and TV programs. He has been the subject of many newspaper and magazine articles and will soon have his story filmed by 20th Century Fox, with William Holden playing the former Navy medic. But perhaps Dooley's greatest personal achievement is the Criss award, made by Mutual of Omaha, for outstanding medical contributions. Both Dr. Albery Schweitzer and Dr. Jonas Salk have been recipients of the same award. So impressed was Secretary of the Army Wilber M.
