Art Group Sets Coming Programs
The Feld String Quartet with pianist guest performer will lead off the program of coming events for the Laguna Art Association.
The Quartet will perform Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. with a program of Mozart and Brahms music.
A color film, "Exotic New Guinea," will be shown Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. by Arthur O'Conner, and on Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. a concert will be presented with Linda Tennis, soprano, and Charlotte Tinsley, harpist.
A piano and violin recital has been slated for March 26 at 8 p.m. ith Richard and Adeline Leshin.

Theta Nu Chapter, Alpha Iota International Honorary Business Sorority, Criss Business College, held its annual Christmas party in the home of June Gwazdacz, vice-president. A short business meeting preceded.

The Anaheim Committee bridge section of the Orange County Philharmonic Society enjoyed a holiday party in the Tustin home of Mrs. Robert Crossan. Attending were the Mmes. The Lark Choir of Jonas Salk School entertained members of the school's Parent-Teacher Association at the Christmas program. The choir is composed of the fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
M and Mrs. L. T. Shannon, 1941 Redwood Ave. and their children, Louis, Michael and Lynda, are visiting relatives in San Antonio and Houston, Tex., during the holidays.
Miss Roberta Hyde of 1225½ Diamond St., a kindergarten teacher at Mira Linda School, went home to Joshua Tree for the Christmas holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zimmercan of S. Lemon St. will entertain relatives on Christmas Day. Present will be Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Vollbrecht and children of Buena Park, Mrs. Angeeta Howell and son Tommy of Pasadena, Mrs. Metta Watson of Aukum and La Rue Watson of Romoland.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Goldklang of 521 Priscilla Way, are flying to New York for the holidays and the wedding of her brother on Dec. 26.
Centralia District's seven schools, which dismissed for the Christmas holidays Dec. 18, will remain closed until Monday, Jan. 4, 1960.

VFW Reports Made at Meet
Members of the Ladies Auxiliary 3173 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars helped trim the Christmas trees for the patients at the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, it was revealed at the last meeting of the group, conducted by Elizabeth Aldrich.
Hospital Chairman Ida Trendell also reported six escorts went to the hospital, taking 63 magazines for distribution.
Martha Russell, community chairman, reported that cash donations were sent to Father Flanigan, the Salvation Army and the National Home for Christmas Seals.
Adeline Schroeder, Home chairman, read a rehearsal donation sent to the Helen Maas, chairman of cent bazaar, extended her to all who helped and donated as a new member. Her husband Georgia Garrison was a new member. Refreshments were so close of the meeting line Demick and Opal

Executives to Hear Talk on Customers
Speaker to the Sales Executive Club of Orange County at its dinner meeting Monday night was Robert W. Dorman, coordinator of executive development for General Petroleum Corporation. His topic was "The Customer is Human."
Dorman developed the sales training programs for General Petroleum in Europe and Australia. He is a veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy.
The next meeting will be held Dec. 28.
