Angeles and West of Lemon Sts.; also for expansion of the Anaheim-Fullerton Municipal Court setup. The Federal government has expressed itself as favoring a loan for this development. Council held this up pending further study.
Proposed acquisition of 20 acres half way between Rio Vista and Sunkist Aves., on the west side of Pastor, for the proposed Freeway on Route 19, also was put aside for further study. What Freeway this would be placed in has not been determined by state and county officials.
Servite High School's request for permission to play an afternoon football game at La Palma Stadium brought decision by Council to charge that institution $125 for afternoon games with added charges for any lighting used in the late afternoons. Normally $200 is the charge for afternoon games and $250 for night contests.
Masonic Temple Factor
It took one hour and 45 minutes to dispose of an application submitted by the Keystone Savings and Loan Association, Arthur H. Shipkey, Jr., agent, asking a C-1 zoning on property on the west side of Palm, between South and Vermont St. Involved also is the proposed Masonic Temple which is expected to be constructed eventually and which would cover 30,000 square feet.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the underlined proponents intend to circulate a petition relating to the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City of Anaheim a Municipal Corporation of the Sixth Class of the State of California, and situated in the County of Orange thereof.
Said petition shall contain a request that the question to be submitted to the electors in the territory proposed by said petition be annexed to said City of Anaheim shall with such territory shall be annexed to incorporated in and made a part of said City and the property therein be, after each annexation, subject to taxation equally with the property within the City of Anaheim, and shall be taxed to pay its pro rata portion based upon the assessment of all boned indebtedness of the City of Anaheim outstanding on the date of the filing of said petition or theretofore authorized.
The reasons for the proposed petition are: That if said territory is annexed to the City of Anaheim, the owners thereof and persons living therein will have the benefit of tenure furnished by said municipality in the manner and at the rates furnished to consumers within said municipality; that said territory will have the benefit of police and fire protection, garbage and trash removal, street lighting, improvement roads and other such services; and that the inhabitants of said territory will have the benefit of being governed by a governmental unit to which they will have close contact.
Said territory is situated in the County of Orange, State of California, and the specific boundaries thereof are as follows:
SIRIUS AND TILLER AVENUE ANNEXATION
That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State of California, being a portion of the Southeast quarter of section Z, Township a South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Lake and Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City of Anaheim city limit one, said point being the Southeast corner of the taster street Annexation to the City of Anaheim passed by Ordinance No. 145; May 1, 1954, and filed with the Secretary of State, June 3, 1954, said proof of beginning also be placed on the floor of intersection of the Southerly line of the N% of the SE% of said Section 27, with a line parallel with and 360 feet West of the East line of said Section 27; thence.
1.
