NEW SYSTEM FOR BLOOD ANALYSIS — Tiny test tubes in Annika Chamberlin's left hand contain all the blood samples needed to run a series of five clinical tests with the new ultramicro analytical system introduced to Anaheim and Fullerton by Beckman Instruments, Inc. In Annika's right hand, in contrast, is the larger sample in the syringe which normally is required for the same tests using conventional laboratory methods. With the new ultramicro equipment, it is possible to perform routine clinical tests with minute blood samples from the fingertip, ear lobe or heel.
