ORDINANCE NO. 1383
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER II OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICipal CODE RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONES IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LAND HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND YARD SPACES; ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED THEREIN; PROVIDING FOR ADJUSTMENT; AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND PERMITTING ALL SECTIONS OR PARTS OF SECTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS PLOWS;
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim hereforest duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to charge the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing therein and reporting such proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and did recommend a change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No. 233—Series 1958-59 of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Councillor:
used parts storage when operated or maintained wholly within a building.
(b) Building material storage yard.
(c) Contractor's storage yard.
(d) Draying, freighting or trucking yard or terminal.
(e) Equestrian establishment; academe schools; amusements.
(f) Feed and fuel yard.
(g) Garage; public that does a large amount of body and fender work; and painting.
(h) Lumber yard.
(i) Manufacture of prefabricated buildings.
(j) Mill planing.
(k) Painting (not employing a boiling process); above-surface thinner storage limited to 200 gallons; no tank farm.
(l) Paper; manufacture of.
(m) Stable or riding academy.
(n) Storage space for transit and transportation equipment except freight classification yards.
(o) Truck repairing and overhauling.
SECTION II
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth; and said City Zoning Map as amended in hereby adopted and directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map and inserted in the Anaheim Municipal Code showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION III
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once

did heretofore duty pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone on which it is situated and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and did duly hold and conduct said public hearing to consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and did cause any change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No. 223—Series 1955-49 of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 22nd day of June, 1955, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim on behalf of the public hearing upon said proposed change or changes of zone, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conducted such public hearing an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolution No. 5317, finding and determining that a change or changes of zone should be made as set forth in said resolution.
NOTHERWISE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1
That Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code "establishing zones in the City of Anaheim and therain regulating the use of land, height of buildings and yard space, adopting a map showing the location of daries used in said Article and Chapter; providing for amendment and enforcement thereof; prescribing penalties for violation and repealing all sections or parts of sections in conflict therewith" be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Article IX, Chapter 2 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 26, in Township Santa Rage 10 West, in the Township San Juan Closet Santa Rage 11 As shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 51, Page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South-westery line of the land conveyed to the State of California by instrument No. 25258 and filed for record April 9, 1952, in the Office of the Registrar of Titles of Sold Orange County than thereon North 40'51"30" West 642.85 feet from its intersection with the Southerly line of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of sold Section 26, and running thence North 40'51"30" West along South-westery line, 127.44 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave South-westerly, having a radius of 9970.00 feet; thence through a central angle of 92°40", an arc distance of 81.74 feet, thence South 47°45" West 170.65 feet to the West-westery line of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of sold Section 26; thence South 12°48" East along West-westery line, 996.83 feet.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of or within the City Zoning Map as amended herein adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map and inserted in the Anaheim Municipal Code showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 2
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Gazette, a new paper of general circulation circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

1. That the buildings to be erected on subject property shall be constructed essentially as per renderings and the plot plan presented to the City Council and on file with the City of Anaheim.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other pertinent work be compiled with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer; and (b) That a bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be posted with the City to guarantee the installation of said engineering requirements.
3. That owner of subject property pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
4. That drainage be provided from the existing culvert.
5. That owner of subject property place recorded standard City of Anaheim M-1 Deed Restrictions, approved by the City Attorney, which restrictions shall prohibit use of said property for the following M-1 uses:
(a) Automobile assembly, body and fender works, dismantling and

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Anaheim at the office of the City Clerk up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 1st day of October, 1959, and will be opened on said date at the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.M., in public, in lieu of Council Chamber in the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, State of California, by the City Clerk and the City Engineer, for furnishing the following:
All plant, labor, services, materials and equipment, and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct and complete in a goodandworkable manner in strict accordance with the specifications, plans and drawings thereof on file in the office of the City Engineer or City Clerk of the City Anaheim, the following public improvement, to wit: The Improvement of Broadway Street, from Kenmore Street to Dale Avenue, by excavation, including hauling away and disposal of existing material, construction of plains surfacing per typical section including valleys bladder and wod killer, remodeling of existing driveways, adjusting existing manholes to grade, adjusting existing driveways to grade, lowering existing irrigation line, construction of standard paddle boards and removal of existing trees, including haulaway and disposal, and appurtenant work as indicated on the plans. Project No. 66, and shall be established by the City Engineer and the result thereof reported to the City Council at its next regular or adjourned regular meeting, for action thereon by said City Council.
PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, the City Council of the City Of Anaheim has ascertained the general prevailing rates in wages in this type work is to be performed for each type of worker needed to execute this contract. The hourly wage scale so ascertainied is as follows:

Each bid shall be made out by one member to be obtained at the office of the City Of Anaheim or by cashier's check or bid bond ten (10) per cent of the amount billed to deliver to the City Clerk at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on October 1959, at two time sealings proposals will be opened in public by the City Clerk and City Engineer. Sealed proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked in upper left corner "Sealed proposals for construction OF THE IMPROVEMENT PROADWAY STREET PROJECT NO. 66."
Each bid must specify the name and location of each subcontractor who perform work or labor or resumes to the contractor in order to accomplish the construction of the work or provision and the portion of work which will be done by each contractor. If any bid submitted to specify a subcontractor, as a bid, the contractor submitting it will agree to perform work itself.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a labor and material bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certificate or cashier's check or bid bond ten (10) per cent of the amount billed to deliver to the City Clerk at 2:00 o'clock P.M. on October 1959, at two time sealings proposals will be opened in public by the City Clerk and City Engineer. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONES IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THEHEIM REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND YARD SPACES; ADOPting A JAPANESE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION AND REPEALING ALL SECTIONS OR PARTS OF SECTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City of Anaheim DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and did hold and conduct public hearing to consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and did recommend a change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No. 231, Series 1956-57 of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 7th day of May, 1957, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposal and gave itidence thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission, and did thereupon adopt Resolution No. 2363, finding and determining that a change or changes of zone should be made as set forth in said resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City of Anaheim DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code "establishing zones in the City of Anaheim and therein regulating the use of land, height of buildings and yard spaces; adopting a map showing the boundaries of said zone; refining the terms used in said Article and Chapter; providing for amendment and enforcement thereof; prescribing penalties for violation and repealing all sections or parts of section this 5th day of September, 1959.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City of Anaheim DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt a resolution declaring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and did hold and conduct public hearing to consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and did recommend a change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No. 231, Series 1956-57 of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 7th day of May, 1957, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposal and gave itidence thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission, and did thereupon adopt Resolution No. 2363, finding and determining that a change or changes of zone should be made as set forth in said resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE City of Anaheim DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code "establishing zones in the City of Anaheim and therein regulating the use of land, height of buildings and yard spaces; adopting a map showing the boundaries of said zone; refining the terms used in said Article and Chapter; providing for amendment and enforcement thereof; prescribing penalties for violation and repealing all sections or parts of section this 5th day of September, 1959.

on consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission, and thereupon adopt Resolution No. 3653, finding and determining that a change or changes of zone should be made payable to the City of Anaheim, and shall be sealed and attached to the City Clerk at the fall of the City of Anaheim before October 1959 at which seal proposals will be opened by the City Clerk and the Engineer. Sealed proposals submitted in sealed envelopes marked in the upper left hand "Sealed proposals for construction of THE IMPROVEMENT OF WAY STREET PROJECT" will be performed by the City Clerk.
