NOTICE IS HARBOR GIVEN THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM will hold a PUBLIC HEARING in the Council Chamber at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on Tuesday, August 18, 1959, at the hour of 1:00 O'clock P.M. to consider amendments to Article IX Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code together with described boundaries of zones thereafter established by removing the following described properties from the zone or zones in which they are now situated and incorporating these properties in the zones hereinafter indicated:

PETITION submitted by LYDIA DAVIS, 882 South Stanton Avenue, Anaheim, California, as Owner, Dick S. Heffern, P.O. Box 181, Anaheim, California, as Authorized Agent, requesting that the property described as being on the northeast corner of Stanton and Lancoma Avenue be conserved from R-A RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL to C-2, HEAVY COMMERCIAL.

LB Civic Light Opera To Hold Auditions For New Production
The Long Beach Civic Light Opera Association will hold open auditions for "Brigadoon" Sunday, August 2, at 1:30 p.m., at the Dance-Drama Center, 518 East 4th St.
The company has just completed a highly-successful production of "The Pilgrims Game" in which a considerable number of Orange County residents participated. They included Ricky Harris of Lido Isle, Betty Tesman of Fullerton, Gill Silvius and Nancy Sawyers of Anaheim, Hal Mecham of Laguna Beach, and Tom McKenna.

Anaheim Junior and Midget baseball teams move into the second round this week with both squads sporting winning records.
The Juniors who draw a bye Me., "The Heather on the Hill," and "Till Go Home with Bonnie Jean."
today, bopped helpless Buena Park 6-1 in the week's only contest.
The Midgets holding down a 6-2 record met their second defeat of the season at the hands of Costa Meza on the 20th by a 7-2 count.
Two days later the Anaheimers made up for it as they piped a tough Buena Park squad 9-8 in extra innings.
