Royal Arch Masons, Masonic Temple, 7:30 ppm. VISITORS — Theodore Rosequist, coordinator of New State Fair Planning, was a visitor to Anaheim this past week. Services Held for 48-Year Resident Funeral services for Otto G. Hilbers, 62, Anaheim resident since 1911, were held Tuesday at Hilgenfeld Mortuary. Interment was in Anaheim Cemetery with Dr. Arthur M. Stevenson officiating. He died Sunday at the family home, 108 E. Broadway. He is survived by his widow, Helen; daughter, Mrs. Susan Hilbers Talevich of Anaheim; sons, George Richard of Palo Alto and John Otto of Anaheim; sister, Mrs. Helen Liston of Nebraska and two grandchildren. The rates of per diem wages for each of the various classifications of work shall be the hereinbefore set forth prevailing rates of hourly wage multiplied by eight. Eight hours shall constitute a day's work. It being understood that in the event that workers are employed less than eight hours per day the per diem wage shall be that fraction of the per diem wage herein established that the number of hours of employment begins to eight hours. The overtime rule establishing the rates of overtime and holiday work shall be in accordance with the following: Where a single shift is worked, eight hours of continuous employment, except for lunch periods shall constitute a day's work beginning on Monday and continuing through Friday. Whole work is required in excess of eight hours in any one day or during the interval of time from 5:00 o'clock P.M. Friday and 12:00 o'clock midnight Saturday, such work shall be paid for at the minimum rate of one and one-half times the basic rate of wages, and on Sundays and holidays such work shall be paid for at the minimum rate of wages, except as otherwise provided in the May, 1954 revision of the A.G.C., B.C.A., R.B.I., E.G.C.A., A.F.L., C.I.O., Southern California Master Labor Agreement. Holidays as herein referred to shall be deemed to be New Year's Day Decoration Day, Independence Day Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Any of the above mentioned holidays other than Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered a legal holiday. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him not less than twice specified rates of wages to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract. Each bid shall be made out on a form to be obtained at the office of the City Clerk or the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim and shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier check or bid book. For each bid per cent of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Anaheim and shall be sealed and delivered to the City Clerk at the City Hall on the City of Anaheim before 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 20th day of July, 1959, at which time sealed proposals will be opened in public by the City Clerk and the City Engineer. Obituaries Gertrude Bright Funeral services for Gertrude Bright, 77, of 311 S. Euclid Ave. will be held today at Grace Chapel with interment in Inglewood Park Cemetery. A resident of California for 40 years, she had lived in Anaheim for nine months. She died Monday and was a member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lois M.Anstine of Anaheim; sister, Mrs. Ethel H. Hummel of Los Angeles; and a brother, Carl Boyce of Culver City. Rev. Eldred Charles will officiate at the 11 a.m. services. Hilgenfeld Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Antonia Stranske Funeral services were held for Antonia Stranske, 71, an Anaheim resident until 1944, at Hilgenfeld Mortuary Chapel. Interment was in the family plot in Anaheim Cemetery. She came to the United States in 1906 and had lived in California since 1916. She made her home with her son at 9627 Cedar Ave. She is survived by five daughters, 16 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. She uses a form to be obtained at the office of the City Clerk or the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim and shall be certified or cashier's check or bid bond for ten per cent of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Anaheim and shall be sealed and delivered to the City Clerk at the City Hall of the City of Anaheim before 2:00 o'clock P.M. on the 30th day of July, which would impede its opening in public by the City Clerk and the City Engineer.
