News About Our Service Men PACIFIC FLEET — Serving aboard the Pacific Fleet ocean minesweeper USS Force, scheduled to return to Long Beach, Calif., June 1 after a seven month Far Eastern cruise, is Gary T. Hahn, petty officer first class, USN, husband of Mrs. Patricia L. Harn of 7831 Joel Ave., Anaheim. Before entering the Navy in January 1948, he attended Ames High School. During the deployment, the ship operated with the Korean Navy, the Nationalistic Chinese Navy and the Royal Thailand Navy, and visited Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, Midway Island and Hawaii.
