NOTICE TO BIDDERS
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the MAGNOLIA SCHOOL DISTRICT will receive bids to purchase Curbs, Sidewalks, Gutters & Misc. Site improvements up to 10:00 a.m. April 30, 1955, in compliance with specifications on file at the office of said School District. P.O. Box 2007, Anaheim, California.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, candidate's check or bidder's bond for an amount of not less than five (5) per cent of the total bid, made payable to the order of the Board of Trustees of said School District.
Bids shall be sealed and marked Site Improvements at the Robert M. Pyles School "apd" filed with the office of the Business Manager of the School District oh or before Thursday, April 30, 1955, 10 a.m.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, to waive any informality or irregularity, and to air and act as sole judge of the merit and qualifications of the material or equipment offered.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the Magnolia School District of Orange County, California, will receive General Contract Bids for furnishing all required labor, materials, transportation and services for construction of Curbs, Sidewalks, Gutters and Miscellaneous Site Improvements at the Robert M. Pyles School, 10411 Dale Street, Stanton, California.
Each bid is to be in accordance with Plans, Specifications and other contract documents prepared by Prick and Prick, Architects, 340 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, California.
Amount to be stated in the State of California, the Board of Trustees of the said School District has accertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rates for legal holiday and overtime work for each worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder. The prevailing rates so determined are as follows:

The foregoing schedule of minimum prevailing rates of hourly wages is based upon a working day of eight (8) hours.
The rates of legal holiday wages for each of the various classes of work shall be determined the prevailing hourly rates. Legal holidays as herein referred to shall be deemed to be all Saturdays, Sundays, January First, May Third, July Fourth, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and December Twenty-Fifth.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workmen employed by them in the execution of the contract or to the current accepted rate.
Each bid shall be made out on a form to be obtained at the office of the Architects, 340 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena, California; shall be accompanied by a certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for five per cent (5%) of the amount of the bid made payable to the order of the Board of Trustees of the Magnolia School District of Orange County, California; shall be sealed in an envelope marked on the face of the envelope "BID" and shall state the kind of work the bid covers, and this must be filled with a representative of said Board of Trustees on or before Thursday, April 30th, 1968 at 2:00 P.M. at the District Superintendent's Office of the Magnolia School District, 2706 West Orange, Anaheim, California.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informality in any bid submitted. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
