Miss Elaine Elizabeth Kuchel became the bride of Joseph Hampton Eudemiller Friday evening in Wayfarers' Chapel at Portuguese Bend. The Rev. Kenneth W. Knox performed the ceremony before a small group of close friends and relatives.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore B. Kuchel of Yorba Linda, was escorted to the candlelit altar of the lovely glass-walled chapel by her father. Her gown of imported silk was covered with embroidered floral medallions and the skirt formed a chapel train. The cap which her mother wore as a bride had been remodeled to wear with the silk illusion veil. Pink rosebuds and white 'mums made the bridal bouquet.
Sister Attends
Only attendant to the bride was her sister, Mrs. Robert Dankanyin, who was attired in green changeable taffeta and carried orchid 'mums.
John Halverson stood beside the bridegroom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Eudemiller of Beverly Hills. Ushers were Henry Smith and Robert Dankanyin.
Mrs. Kuchel wore a lovely eggshell satin and chiffon gown with matching accessories and pink rosebuds. Mrs. Eudemiller's costume was ice blue satin with matching hat and accessories and pink rosebuds.
The Kuchels were hosts at a wedding supper in Marineland Restaurant, where silver candelabra and white 'mums adorned the bride's table. A reception for their many friends will be given at the Kuchel home after the couple returns from a honeymoon at Las Vegas.
Travel Costume
For travel the bride wore a brown mink - trimmed suit with burnt orange hat and gloves, brown accessories. Her corsage was of gold carnations.
The new Mrs. Eudemiller is a graduate of Fullerton High School, University of Colorado and University of South California. Her sorority is Kappa Kappa Gamma.
The bridegroom graduated from Beverly Hills High School and Menlo Junior College. He is attending Long Beach State College and the couple will live in Anaheim.
Prenuptial courtesies extended the couple included a miscellaneous shower given by Mines. Everett Cone, Paul Davidson, Harry I. Horn and H. G. Wilson in the Cone home on S. West St., Anaheim.
