The above mentioned check or bid shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract if awarded to him, and will be offered if it is successful bidding failure will be told to said contract after being requested so by the City of Anaheim. Such contract shall be entered into within fifteen (15) days after receipt by said contractor of notice of the awarding of the contract unless such time is exceeded by the City of Anaheim. Each bid must include the name and location of the mill shop or office of each subcontractor who will perform work or labor or render services to the contractor in or about the construction of the work or improvement and the portion of the work which will be done by each subcontractor. If such a subcontractor fails to specify a subcontractor aforesaid, the contractor submitting such bid agrees to perform the work himself. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond in the amount equal to one hundredth of price and a labor and material bond amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Such bonds to be secured from a surplus or bonding company satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Anaheim and shall be approved by the City Attorney as to form and sufficience before acceptance.
