The following hourly wage scale so assigned is as follows: HOURLY RATE ASSIGNIFICATION 4 - Anaheim Gazette Anaheim, Calif., Thurs., Sept. 11, 1958 of the A.G.C., B.C.A., H.B.I., E.G.C.A., A.P.L.-CLO., Southern California Master Labor Agreement. Holidays as herein referred to shall be deemed to be New Year's Day, Decoration Day, Independence Day, Labor Day or Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day; any of the above mentioned holidays other than Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered a legal holiday. It shall be mandatory upon the contractor whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than specified rates of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract. Each bid shall be made out on a form obtained at the office of the City Chief on the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check or bid bond for ten (10%) per cent of the amount (10%) per cent of the amount to the City of Anaheim, and shall be sealed and addressed to the City Chief at the City Hall of the City on the day of September, 1958, at which time sealed proposals will be opened in public by the City Clerk and the City Engineer. Sealed proposals shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked in the upper left hand corner of the construction Improvement, Job No. 1141," together with the name and address of the bidder. The above mentioned check or bid shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract if awarded to him, and will be offered if it is successful bidding failure will be told to said contract after being requested so by the City of Anaheim. Such contract shall be entered into within fifteen (15) days after receipt by said contractor of notice of the awarding of the contract unless such time is exceeded by the City of Anaheim. Each bid must include the name and location of the mill shop or office of each subcontractor who will perform work or labor or render services to the contractor in or about the construction of the work or improvement and the portion of the work which will be done by each subcontractor. If such a subcontractor fails to specify a subcontractor aforesaid, the contractor submitting such bid agrees to perform the work himself.
