Heat syrup; dissolve raspberry gelatin in it. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and salt; chill until thick and syrupy. Add the cherries and pour into a 1-qt. mold; chill until firm. Dissolve the lemon gelatin in the boiling water, add lemon juice and chill. When starting to congeal, then add cottage cheese. When the raspberry-cherry gelatin is firm, pour the lemon-cottage cheese gelatin mixture over it. Chill and serve on salad greens. Serves 6 to 8. Company Butterfly Pork Chops 6 butterfly pork chops 3 tbsps. lard or drippings 1 large onion, chopped 1 tsp, flour 2 tbsps. salt 2 tbsps. prepared mustard ½ tsp. pepper 1 c. beef stock (bouillon) 2 tbsps. piccalilli Brown chops on both tablespoons hot fat. Readd remaining fat, onion for 3 minutes. Salt, mustard and pancil well blended. Add piccalilli and cook till well blended. Place pork chops in spoon sauce over chicken and simmer 50 minutes.
