After Remodeling Emil Foust, well known Orange County restaurateur, opened for business on Wednesday at the former location of Glenn's Cafe at 136 E. Center Street, next to Bank of America, under a new name, Jans Coffee Shop. The entire interior of the cafe has been remodeled, presenting an inviting, restful atmosphere. The kitchens have been modernized with the addition of equipment on wheels, which facilitates complete cleaning and inspection by merely pulling it from the wall. Tile has been put on the walls of the kitchen to facilitate ease of cleaning in this respect. A new large storage room has been added to the rear of the building. Mr. Foust has been in the restaurant business since 1940, operating Emil's Drive-In Coffee Shop, restaurant and cocktail bar at Delhi Road and South Main Street in Santa Ana. He also owned and operated the popular Lido Wharf Restaurant at Lido Village in Newport Beach, which specialized in steaks and sea food. This restaurant was cited by General Foods Corporation as one of the finest of its kind in the United States. Armon O'Neal, well known chef at the Lido Wharf, and recently at the exclusive Fort Worth Club in Fort Worth, Texas, will be the chef at the newly opened Jans. "Family-Size" Fred R.
