Army 2d Lt. Carl M. Jameson,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Jameson,
7341 Katella, Anaheim, recently was graduated from the basis officer course at The Infantry School, Fort Benning, Ga.
Designed for officers who have not served with troops, the course gave Lieutenant Jameson instruction in the tasks and problems of an infantry unit commander.
The lieutenant is a 1954 graduate of Orange Coast College and was formerly employed by Douglas Aircraft Corporation in Long Beach. His wife, Glenda, lives in Columbus, Ga.

Buys Studebaker-Packard Agency
Leo Gogerty, known as the Mercury dealer in this city for three years and more recently a user car dealer, purchased the Studebaker-Packard agency on April 1.

1 from Leavitt Ford, located at 226 So. Los Angeles Street. He has assumed active management of the agency.
Mr. Gogerty has been a resident of Anaheim for the past sixty years and he, with his wife and daughter, Geraldine, 15 years old age, and son, Larry, 9 years old reside at 714 W. Grafton Place. He is a native of Sheridan, Wyoming and has been a resident of California since 1920, living in Long Island.

Hailamore Employee Has Winning Name
Jost A. Matzdorff, Hallamore Electronics Co. electro-mechanical engineer, of 13061 Bern Lane, Garden Grove, received a $25 check for having the winning entry in the Hallamore employee "Name the Magazine Contest" Contest" conducted this month at the local firm. John Burke, vice-president engineering, made the presentation.
The money isn't everything, Jost will also have the continuing distinction of seeing the name that he submitted, on the cover of future issues of "THE PRINTED CIRCUIT," the official publication of the employees of Hallamore Electronics Company.
"The PRINTED CIRCUIT" was one of over 160 fine entries that received consideration from the judges.
Pvt. Phillip A. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Taylor, 548 S. Indiana St., Anaheim, recently completed the 15-week radio teletype operation course at the Army's Southeastern Signal School, Fort Gordon, Ga. Taylor, a 1956 graduate of the University of Southern California, entered the Army last October and received basic training at Fort Hood, Tex. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha and Pi Kappa Lambda fraternities.
Pvt. William B. Pinkart, whose wife, Jewell, lives at 12831 Bluebell, Anaheim, is receiving basic combat training with the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis Wash. Pinkart, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Pinkart, 11921 Ewood Lane, Garden Grove, graduated from Kingsford, Mi High School in 1952. He was ployed by Thriftmart Groc Store in Anaheim.
