UNION PACIFIC DOMELINERS Rosie Ellen Hackney Passes on Wednesday Rosie Ellen Hackney, a resident of Anaheim for five years, died Wednesday morning at the age of 84 years at the home of her daughter at 532 S. Palm Street after an extended illness. She leaves two daughters: Mrs. W. M. Power of Anaheim and Mrs. T. A. Williams of Tenn; one son, G. W. Hackney of Anaheim; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; five sisters and five brothers all of Tenn. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Fullerton. Funeral services will be conducted from the Hilgenfeld Chapel Friday at 10 o'clock, Rev. Freeman Rogers officiating, followed by interment in Anaheim cemetery. Herbert M. Rodin Dies Suddenly Sun. Herbert Melvin Rodin, a resident of Anaheim for 15 years, residing at 10361 S. Zeyn St., died suddenly in Ensenada, Mexico, last Sunday. He was 43 years old. He leaves one son, Loren M. Rodin, three daughters, Mrs. Sharon R. Lancaster, Miss Darlene F. Rodin and Miss Adalene K. Rodin, all of Anaheim; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Gelker of Anaheim, Mrs. Frank Sack of North Dakota and Miss Esther Rodin of Riverside; his father, Peter E. Rodin of Reeder, N. Dakota.
