Pays 2nd Tax Payment Pacific Telephone this week made a second tax payment of over $500,000 to county tax collector Don Mosley. The first payment of $592,754 was made last December on the company's 1936-37 property tax. Anaheim manager Herb Perry said that the payment is one of the largest ever made in the county by a utility. He further reported that in the southland a half-million dollars is now being spent each working day by Pacific Telephone in order to keep pace with increasing demands for telephone facilities.
