Army PFC Henry Moreno, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Moreno, 10922 Garza Ave., Anaheim, recently spent a leave in Denmark. Moreno is regularly assigned to 1st Battalion Headquarters Company in the 11th Airborne Division's 511th Infantry Regiment in Germany. He entered the Army in February, 1955, and received basic training at Fort Campbell, Ky. The 20-year-old soldier arrived overseas in February, 1956. He attended Anaheim Union High School. Ronald E. Utes, seaman, USN, son of Mrs. Kenneth J. Krefft of 840 N. Clementine St., and John V. Meyer, quartermaster third class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Darrell H. Meyer of 1312 Chateau Ave., both of Anaheim, arrived at San Diego, Jan. 30 aboard the support aircraft carrier USS Boxer. The ship returned from six months duty in the Western Pacific where she participated in anti-submarine warfare exercises off the coast of central and southern Japan. The Boxer visited Yokosuka, Kobe and Sasebo, Japan; and Hong Kong.
