Cover with barbecue sauce and cook slowly on top of range or in a slow oven (300 degrees F.) for 1½ hours or until tender. BARBECUE SAUCE 1 medium onion 2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons vinegar 2 tablespoons brown sugar ¼ cup lemon juice 1 cup catchup 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 cup water 1 teaspoon salt few grains red pepper Brown onion in butter and add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly. Pour sauce over riblets and cook as described above. BUTTER CREAM FROSTING 4 cups powdered sugar 6 tbsps. soft butter or margarine 1 egg white, unbeaten Dash of salt 2 or 3 tbsps. cream 1 can coconut or 1 fresh coconut, grated Sift sugar; add about ½ of it to the soft or melted butter and cream well. Beat in egg white, vanilla and salt. Gradually add rest of the sugar alternately with the cream. Beat hard. Spread be- 6 tbsps. soft butter or margarine 1 egg white, unbeaten Dash of salt 2 or 3 tbsps. cream 1 can coconut or 1 fresh coconut, grated Sift sugar; add about ½ of it to the soft or melted butter and cream well.
