DEVILED EGGS IN ASPIC
1 can tomato aspic, melted
2 hard-cooked eggs
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash of salt
Cut eggs crosswise into halves. Mash yolks and blend with seasonings. Fill whites.
Place one-half deviled egg, cut side down, in each of four individual molds. Pour cooled melted tomato aspic over egg. Chill until set. Makes four salads.
TANGY DRESSING
Delicious on either the green bean or aspic salads.
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup cucumber, grated
½ cup green pepper, finely chopped
2 teaspoons vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
Leave skin on cucumber for added color. Stir all ingredients together and chill before serving. Makes about one pint.
Carl's Jr. Drive-In Opens in Anaheim
Offering a wide variety of tasty dishes, Carl's Jr. Drive-In at 605 W. Center Street, this city, is the second such establishment to be opened in Orange County, following one recently opened in Brea at 707 S. Pomona Ave.
Carl's Jr. Drive-In eating establishments are owned and operated by Carl Karcher, Carl Heinz and Donald Karcher, offering Jumbo chili dogs, char-broiled burgers, fish and chips, shrimp, pastrami, tacos, malts, sundaes and other beverages.
Designed on the serve-yourself principle, patrons may eat in their cars or in an outside patio corner where ample tables and benches
