Security First House Reception OPENING SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY. FEBRUARY 20 The new home of Security-First National Bank is in readiness for their open house and welcoming to the new location on Monday, Feb. 20, at which time the public is invited to visit their new building. Last minute details are now being made prior to their moving into the new establishment over the weekend. The bank will be open and conducting regular business until 3 p.m., with the entire staff on hand from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with refreshments served throughout the day. friends. As a decorative feature, special openings, or slots, have been built into the walls to hold paintings of well known Anaheim and Orange county artists. These will be changed each month. Mr. McWaters, or "Jim" as he is known to his friends and acquaintances, has been branch manager since December, 1954. He and his wife, Vey, have a son, Norman Russell, 14 years old, and a daughter, Leanne Theresa, 11 years old. He is active in Anaheim civic affairs and is a member of the Elks club. Assistant manager of the Anaheim Branch, Gerald L. Templeton, was elected to that position in May, 1954, arriving at the local bank in February, 1951, where he has continuously been employ- ed. He and his wife, Maxine, have three children, Stephen, 12 years old, Cheryl, 8, and Gregory, months old. He is a member of the Anaheim Lions club. Contractors of the new bank building were Nicholas South and Sons, this city, Murray Painting Company in charge of the exterior and interior painting. Plumbing was installed by the Tri-C Plumbing Co., of Garden Grove with the glass installation Dougan and Company of this company. Service Roofing Company Fullerton had the contract for roofing of the building. Congratulations to the SECURITY FIRST NATIONAL ROOFING James F. McWaters, Anaheim Branch manager, has stated that much thought has gone into the plans of the new bank building so that the utmost service can be given to its many depositor.
