YMCA Annual Meeting – Officer Election Tues. Eve. The 33rd annual dinner meeting of the local YMCA was held Tuesday evening at the Elks club when the election of officers was also held. Walter Taylor, president, opened the meeting with the capacity crowd singing "America." Invocation was by the Rev. Earl Kernahan, pastor of the White Temple Methodist church. The Fellowship sing was led by Orville Thomason with C. Merle Waterman accompanying at the piano. The principal speaker of the evening was Dr. Boyce Van Osdel, pastor of the Calvary Baptist church in San Bernardino, using for his topic, "The 'Y' in a World Lit by Lightning," which was most enlightening and enjoyable. Report of the nominating committee was heard with the following board members elected for a term of three years; James Abrecht, Roland W. Anderson, Warren L. Ashleigh, Wilbert Bonney, Harry P.
