THE LARS LUND'S NOTE GOLDEN WEDDING DATE Mr. and Mrs. Lars Lund, long time Anaheim residents who are now making their home at Elsinor, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday afternoon. Their three children were hosts at open house, Sam Lund of Anaheim, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lund of Pomona, and Mrs. Melvin Mungerson of Anaheim. The Lunds have seven grandchildren. The couple cut a three-tiered wedding cake and serving was done by Mrs. C. H. Richard, a close friend who is secretary to Upton Sinclair who now lives in Elsinor. The Lunds were married in 1905 in Seattle, Wash., and came to Anaheim in 1916 to establish the Lund Paint Co. JOHN H. EDWARDS DEATH THURSDAY John H. Edwards, 75, a native of Indiana who came to Anaheim more than a year ago and resided with his daughter at 813 N. Lenz Drive, died Thursday after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife, Belle Edwards; two daughters, Mrs. R. F. Cartwright of Anaheim and Mrs. D. L. Meyer of Mound City, Mo.; two sons, J. Andrew Edwards of Richmond, Calif., and John H. Edwards, Jr., of Norwalk, Calif. Rees - Higginson Nuptials at Local Church Revealed Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alvin Higginson are now at home at Plaerville, Calif., following a pre-Christmas wedding at the Evangelical United Brethren church. She is the former Betty Lorraine Rees, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Rees of 889 Avocado St. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Higginson of Pollock Pines.
