And the answer is, obviously, nothing. Summertime is a season of enjoyment for everyone, gardener and non-gardener, alike. If ants begin swarming into your home use chlordane in spray form and apply around the foundations of the home, along the sidewalks, steps, in areas where garbage is temporarily stored, every two to four weeks. Lawn moths will appear at dusk flying over your lawn, scattering their eggs. The eggs hatch in a few weeks and larvae emerge and immediately begin eating the roots of the grass.
