HOME TREND TO MORE BATHS
Public demand for more adequate bathroom facilities has brought about a major revolution in modern home planning, pointing out the Plumbing Fixture Manufacturers Assn.
For example, more than one fourth of all homes being built today are equipped with more than one bathroom. The trend is not confined to moderate or higher-priced homes. Many lower-cost housing developments advertise multiple bathrooms as one of their star attractions.
As recent as seven years ago the proportion of multi-bath home being constructed was only on in 10.
The added convenience offered by multiple bathrooms has been the reason for their growth and popularity. A second bath or power room helps eliminate waiting in line for facilities during morning and evening rush hours.

Feed Shade Tree As Well as Your Fruit Tree
Many home owners are apt to feed their fruit trees, while neglecting shade trees, which need added food as much as the former, especially where grass is mowed around them and the clippings removed.
The fertilizer should contain nitrogen, phosphorous and potash, with 6 or 10 per cent soluble nitrogen. It should be applied at the rate of five pounds for each inch of the tree trunk diameter at breast height. Bertilizer should be supplied to the whole root area.
Application is best when a series of holes are bored into the soil about 18 inches apart and filled with fertilizer. Soil augurs are useful tool for the purpose,
