PATRICIA LOLY BRIDE OF DOUGLAS SHERIDAN AT SATURDAY WEDDING MRS. DOUGLAS M. SHERIDAN Miss Patricia Loly of Denver, Colo., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor G. Loly of 510 N. Clementine street, this city, became the bride of Douglas M. Sheridan, also of Denver, son of Dr. and Mrs. G. P. Sheridar of Rochester, Minn., last Saturday, April 23rd at two o'clock in the Park Hill Congregational Church in Denver. Before an altar banked with white gladioli and yellow carnations accented with graduated candelabra on each side of the altar, the bridgroom's father, Dr. Sheridan read the double ring ceremony. No segays of yellow carnations with white bows and ribbon streamers on alternating pews marked the bridal pathway of the bride as she approached the WM. Dietetic Banana Fruit Mold 1 medium banana 1 envelope unflavored gelatine 1 8 oz. can dietetic 2 teaspoons Sucaryl solution or fruit cocktail 16 tablets, crushed 1 cup orange juice 3/4 cup hot water Slice banana into bottom of 1 quart mold. The bride wore a traditional wedding gown of Frost French lace with a full bell skirt, ending in a sweep train. Her long lissome sweetheart neckline, outlined with bodice was fashioned with an applique of daisies sprinkled with rhinestone hearts. A full length veil of imported illusion fell from her Juliette cap which was trimmed with tiny pearls. To complete her ensemble, she wore lace mitts and carried a cascade bouquet consisting of a white orchid with a yellow throat and a spray of stephanotis with white ribbons. Miss Jeanne Klipping of Colorado Springs, the maid of honor, was gowned in a ballerina length of yellow crystalette, fashioned in princess lines. The deep V-neckline was finished with a bow and she carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses with white melin scattered throughout. Bridesmaids were Miss Patricia Rogers of Denver and Mrs. A.W. Burrman of Chula Vista, Calif. Both wore ballerina gowns of yellow crystalette in princess lines with the deep V-neckline finished with a bow. Their cascade bouquets were yellow roses. To complete their ensemble, each wore matching yellow net garden type hats. Serving the bridegroom as best man was Mr. Paul K. Sims, a graduate of the University of Illinois. Jack Redden and Jim Mytton, both graduates of Dartmouth College and geologists with the U.S. Geological Survey, were ushers. The reception was held in the Sky Room of the Park Lane Hotel in Denver. Mrs. Loly, mother of the bride, wore a pink Peaude Sol over by Margaret Peterson, worthy matron, and Everett Granere, worthy patron. Degrees were conferred on Sandra Johannas, past honored queen of Job's Daughters, and Charlotte Pruett, senior princess. Ethel Hillhouse signed the by-laws and became a member. An "Easter parade of fashions" was presented by the Brothers who were "gowned" in laugh-provoking attire. DELEGATES NAMED Leota Carden and Madelyn Hainlin will be official delegates to Grand Parlor in June. Elections were held at the recent meeting of Native Daughters of the Golden West with Mrs. Carden presiding. Alternates named were Val Renner and Olive Trook. Doris Jacobson was hostess during the social hour. The next meeting will be held at the American Legion hall on May 5. Indians comprise about 11 per cent of Arizona's population. Cypress St. Seventeen members and three guests were entertained by an exhibit of Mrs. Tozer's dolls. Her collection includes many rare items. A silent auction was conducted with proceeds going to the club's philanthropic fund. A note from Venita Miller was read. This traveling member is now visiting in Europe and is expected to return home sometime in June. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Donnie Simms, 735 N. Zion St., on June 23. Katella School will have its open house this evening. April 28. The classrooms will be open from 7 to 8 o'clock with samples of the children's work on display.
