Anahiem Gazette, April 7, 14, 1955) PETITION FOR ANNEXATION TO THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: The petition of all the owners of real property in the territory proposed to be annexed, for annexation to the Stanton County Water District of Orange County, California, respectively shown by the petitioners owning property within the territory hereinafter described respectfully petition your Honorable Board for annexation of the property hereinafter described to the Stanton County Water District, and respectfully represent as follows: That prior to the citations of this petition, the proposal to annex the property described in this petition was made to the Boundary Commission of the County of Orange State of California, in the manner required by Sections $5850 to $5860, inclusive of the Government Code of the State of California. "The matter was thereafter considered by the Orange County Boundary Commission in the manner at the time required by said Act, and said Commission did, within thirty days after the submission of such proposal, make its report and recommendation with respect thereof. That upon the receipt of said report, the proposors of this petition did duty and regularly give consideration to the recommendation of the County Boundary Commission and did accept said report and recommendation of the County Boundary Commission. That the property hereinafter described and is the property recommended for annexation to the Stanton County Water District by the County Boundary Commission. That they are the owners of certain real property within the territory hereinafter described; that the real property which your petitioners are owners of represents more than 75% of total assessed valuation of the territory proposed to be annexed and hereinafter described, as shown by the last equalized county assessment roll. Petitioners constitute a majority in number of the owners and holders of title to the tract of land owned to be annexed in the sold Stanton County Water District and are also the holders of the title to a majority records of Orange County, California right-of-way line to the North line of said Section 25, also being the boundary line of said District; thence Westerly, South-ly, and Westerly along said boundary line to the point of beginning. That the real property proposed to be annexed and included to the Stanton County Water District and hereof described is located entirely within the County of Orange State of California, and is contiguous to the Stanton County Water District. That the assessed valuation, of said real property proposed to be annexed and included to the Stanton County Water District, IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned owners of real property owned by them and the assessed valuation thereof described by the last equalized assessment roll is sum of Fifty-two hundred twenty and mo/100 Dollars ($220.00). That the property herointer described was and is the property recommended for annexation to the Stanton County Water District by the County Boundary Commission. That they are the owners of certain real property within the territory hereinafter described; that the real property which your petitioners are the owners of, represents more than 75% of the total assessed valuation of the territory proposed to be annexed and hereinafter described, as shown by the last equalized county assessment roll. Petitioners constitute a majority in number of the owners and holders of title to the tract of land proposed to be included in the said Stanton County Water District and are also the holders of the title to an amount in amount of all of said land proposed to be so included. The boundaries of the territory proposed to be included and annexed to the Stanton County Water District are specifically described as hereinafter set forth, and said territory shall be known and designated in process as the "MELLA AVENUE ANNEXATION NO.1," to Stanton County Water District: "That portion of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25, in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Meridian, described as follows:" Beginning at a point in the Southerly boundary line of the Stanton County Water District, said point being the intersection of said boundary line with the West line of the West 3 acres of the East one-half (E½) of the North one-half (N½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of the Northwest Quarter (NW½) of Section 25, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Meridian, and running thence Southerly along the said West line to the South line of the North one-half (N½) of the North one-half (N½) of the Northwest Quarter (NE½) of the Northwest Quarter (NE½) of said Section 25; thence Northeast 30 feet parallel with last mentioned West line to said south line; thence Easterly along said South line to the east line of the West 2 acres of the North one-half (N½) of the Northeast Quarter (NE½) of the Northwest Quarter (NE½) of said Section 25; thence Northeast along said East line to the Southwesterly right-of-way line of the land conveyed to the Los Angeles Inter-Urban Railway Company by deed recorded January 3, 1906, in Book 122, page 296 of Deeds, North one-half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest one-quarter, Section 25, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, S.B.M., Rancho Los Coyotes.
