WALTER FEIT
Walter Felt, 35, a native of New York City who came to Anaheim one year ago and whose home was at 1229 E Vermont Ave., died August 27th at an Orange county hospital after an extended illness.
He is survived by one brother, Seymour Felt of Anaheim and a brother and three sisters in New York City.
Funeral services will be held in New York City. Arrangements here are in charge of the Hillgenfeld mortuary.
David Jordt Takes Riverside Bride In First Baptist Church Ceremony
Autumn colors set the theme for the wedding on Saturday, August 28, of David Kenyon Jordt, son of the Drs. Edward and Dorothy Jordt of 11162 S. West St., and Miss Rita S. Larson of Riverside. The bride is the daughter of the Einaar Larsons of that city.
The First Baptist church of Riverside was decorated with burgundy and deep yellow chrysanthemum as the couple stole the Rev. Dallon Gladson change marriage vows. Marriage by her father was lovely in a satin tulle gown with cathedral A Chantilly lace cap hung fusion veil, and she bouquet of stephanotis eonopsis orchids.
Mrs. Laura White, honor, was gowned in her descent taffeta with full bouquet was of harvest nations, burgundy oak bridesmaids Misses Caitlin and Diane Gladson were attired in shades of brown-year-old Jeannie Bridley flower girl and her costumeed those of the brides.
Attending the bridegirl best man was Rolland Over 175 wedding guest ushered to their place church by Bob Kahn, Carrson, Fred Edwards, Jr., Schwedler. Three-year-Knox was ring bearer.
A reception followed the tio of the bride's home handsome wedding cake with sentimental ceremony.
The couple will return their honeymoon in time at UCLA, as sophomore and students respectively. Live at 478 Landfair Angeles 24, California.

Veonne Durham Wedding Vows
Wearing a picturesque torian wedding gown with neckline and bouffant tie, Miss Veonne Arlene Durham changed marriage vows just 21 with James J. Riverside Bride Church Ceremony
memums as the couple stood before the Rev. Dalton Gladson to exchange marriage vows. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in a satin and nylon tulle gown with cathedral train. A Chantilly lace cap held the illusion veil, and she carried a bouquet of stephanotis and phaeleonopsis orchids.
Mrs. Laura White, matron of honor, was gowned in maize iridescent taffeta with full skirt. Her bouquet was of harvest moon carnations, burgundy oak and wheat. Bridesmaids Misses Carol Sharp and Diane Gladson were similarly attired in shades of blue. Four-year-old Jeannie Bridyford was flower girl and her costume matched those of the bridesmaids.
Attending the bridegroom as best man was Rolland Hiltscher. Over 175 wedding guests were ushered to their places in the church by Bob Kahn, Carson Gladson, Fred Edwards, Jr., and Gene Schweder. Three-year-old Curt Knox was ring bearer.
A reception followed in the patio of the bride's home and the handsome wedding cake was cut with sentimental ceremony.
The couple will return from their honeymoon in time to enroll at UCLA, as sophomore and senior students respectively. They will live at 478 Landfair Ave., Los Angeles 24, California.

AUHS Graduate to Marry on Sept. 4
Miss Ophelia Tovar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Tovar of 1005 E. Santa Ana St., will become the bride of Edward Liptrapp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E Liptrapp of 221 Susanne St., on Saturday, Sept. 4. The nuptial rites have been set for 10 a.m., in St. Boniface church.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Anaheim High school. Her fiance graduated from Anaheim High school and this past June received his diploma from Santa Ana Junior College. He is employed at Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach.
New Owners Take Over Antlers Hotel
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Peacock have taken over the management of the Antlers Hotel at 109 N. Los Angeles street, having just purchased the 20-room establishment from Mr. and Mrs. Sturgls Bacon who are retiring from active business.
Mr. and Mrs. Peacock have had wide experience in hotel management and plan to cater especially to business and professional people. They are formerly of Indio.
Ida May Van Atta
Mrs. Ida May Van Atta, 90, a native of Ohio, who came to Olinde 43 years ago, and who has resided in Anaheim for 18 years, died at the family home, 210 W. Kroeger street, last (Monday) night after a prolonged illness.
She is survived by four sons, Carl O. Van Atta of Anaheim, Walter J., of Coalinga, Dewey R., of Whittier and Marion J. Van Atta of Yorba Linda; one daughter, Mrs. Zola Hamilton of Anaheim; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Hilgenfeld chapel Thursday morning at 10 o'clock.
Open House on Golden Anniversary Honors Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Tumas
All the feminine attendants of the wedding 50 years ago were present on Sunday, August 29 to honor Mr. and Mrs. Adolph G. Tuma, 315 Parkway on their golden wedding anniversary which was celebrated with open house at the Tuma home.
Mald of honor was Mrs. Tuma’s twin sister, Mrs Nettie Buetner of Santa Ana Bridemaids were another sister, Mrs Merrell Montoir of Shawano, Wisc., and Miss Mayme Olsson of Los Angeles. The original bridal gown of silk and lace was fashioned by Miss Olsson.
The Tumas spoke their marriage vows on August 30, 1904 in Shawano, Wisconsin. They came to Anaheim in 1920. Tuma has been city treasurer for the past 16 years. He is an active member of the Elks Lodge and with his wife part in the work of Presbyterian church, Ode Lodge and Rebekah Ashton Hosts at the celebrating the couple’s children, Mrs. Charles Tuna, and Mrs. Gullen Spencer. The grandchild, Mrs. Wayne Pouring at the refreshables throughout the afternoon hours were Mrs. Tuma, Mrs. Ellen Smith, brose Scutt, Mrs. Clayte Mrs.' Joseph Tuma, Mrs.' Blond and Mrs. Norman J.
Special guests were Mrs. Buettner, Mrs. Tuma’s her husband from Chicago Wisconsin. Presiding at the book were Mrs. Joan of Orange and Miss Jackner of Santa Ana.

Veonne Durham, James Kahlen Recite Wedding Vows in Lutheran Church
Wearing a picturesque mid-Victorian wedding gown with high-neckline and bouffant tiered skirt, Miss Veonne Arlene Durham exchanged marriage vows on August 21 with James J. Kahlen in St. John's Lutheran church of Orange.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Durham of Orange, and her bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred T. Kahlen, 14431 E. South street, Anaheim. The Rev. John Geisler officiated at the double ring service.
Miss Durham's short veil was held in place by a tiara of pearls and sequins. She carried an heirloom handkerchief of Rosepoint lace which had been in her mother's family for 80 years. Her wedding bouquet was an arrangement of white orchids and fleur d'amour on a prayer book.
The two bridal attendants were clad alike in aqua taffeta with matching clusters of carnations in their hair. They carried nosegays of yellow glamellia. Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Darlene, and bridesmaid was Miss Audrey Taplin of Santa Ana.
The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Fred, as best man. Ushers were Eugene Duker and William H. Adams.
Soloist was O. G. Thomason of Anaheim while Theodore Hopmann of Orange was at the organ. The church was beautifully decorated with white arrangements of gladioli, stock and delphinium.
A wedding reception followed in the gardens at Capilla de San Antonio. The bridegroom's sister, Mrs. William H. Adams of Whittier, poured. Miss Patsy Wood of Orange was in charge of the guest book.
After a honeymoon at Lake Tahoe, the new Mr. and Mrs. Kahlen will live in an apartment on Waverly street, Orange.
The wedding was the climax of a gay social whirl of events honoring the bride. The final pre-nuptial affair was held in the Anaheim home of the bridegroom's parents with Mrs. Adams as hostess. At that time, 30 relatives of the bridegroom showered the bride with gifts for her home.

Elks Lodge and with his wife takes part in the work of the First Presbyterian church, Odd Fellows Lodge and Rebekah Assembly.
Hosts at the celebrations were the couple's children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tuma, and Mr. and Mrs. Gullen Spencer. Their only grandchild, Mrs. Wayne Hudson of Alameda, was unable to attend.
Pouring at the refreshment tables throughout the afternoon and evening hours were Mrs. Charles Tuma, Mrs. Ellen Smith, Mrs. Ambrose Scutt, Mrs. Clayton Allen, Mrs.' Joseph Tuma, Mrs. Tressa La Blond and Mrs. Norman Luebeke.
Special guests were Mrs. Kume Buettner, Mrs. Tuma's sister, and her husband from Clintonville, Wisconsin. Presiding at the guest book were Mrs. Joan Kerwaldt of Orange and Miss Jackie Wagner of Santa Ana.
CHURCH YOUTH GROUP TO CONDUCT WORK CAMP
On Saturday, five members of the White Temple Youth group with Minister of Youth, Dave Deshler, will leave for Sonora, Arizona, where they will conduct a work camp at the Mexican Methodist church there. Among those attending will be David Visel, Lucy Fischle, Ronnie Larson, Carol Leigh and Lynn Oden. The group will return on Sept. 11.
