Gay Leaves for University Course Richard W. Gay, Assistant Manager, Bank of America, will leave August 19 for two weeks attendance at the School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. This will be his 3rd year at School which requires two weeks resident attendance each year for three years to earn the certificate of graduation. Throughout the year between resident sessions students are required to do extension work involving problems in all phases of banking. The School is sponsored by the Central States Conference, composed of bankers associations. Attendance this year will approximate 815 bankers, ranging from junior officers and department managers to presidents, vice-presidents and board chairmen. The faculty of over 100 instructors consists of bankers who are specialists in their respective fields, practicing attorneys, business executives and members of a number of university groups of men in their respective professions ever assembled for adult educational purposes. Raymond Rolf Weds La Habra 'Girl Raymond Richard Rolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Rolf of 310 N. Given in marriage by her father, COUNTY FARM BUREAU DEDICATES NEW BUILDING According to executive secretary George Kellogg, dedication of the new $75,000 Orange County Farm Bureau Building on 1916 W. Chapman Ave., Orange, has been set for Aug. 5. A board of directors' meeting and luncheon preceded the ceremonies. Chairman of the dedication committee was C. J. Marks, former exec secretary of the Farm Bureau, assisted by past president Dan Gardner, J. W. Crill, William Armstrong and George Kellogg. REPORTS TO MARINE CORPS AIR STATION Marine 2nd Lt. Louis L. Middleton, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Middleton of 191 W. Broadway, has reported to the Marine Corps Air Station at Miami, Fla. The Lieutenant, who entered in the Marine Corps in December, 1950, was promoted to his present rank in May of this year. He has been assigned to Marine Attack-Squadron 332, a unit of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The house and garden on the northeast corner of Los Angeles and Aguete street has been purchased by Mr. Fritz Ruhlman. (This is the Mother Colony Pioneer house. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a traditional wedding gown of net over taffeta, and carried a white bridal bouquet. Mrs. Caroline Moore acted as matron of honor, who was gowned in blue net over taffeta. Attending the bridegroom as best man was Carl A. Dillon. The bridegroom's brothers, S. J. Rolf and L. C. Rolf were ushers. After the wedding ceremony, a reception was held in the garden. More than fifty friends and relatives witnessed the ceremony. After a two-week honeymoon in Montana, the new Mr. and Mrs. Rolf will reside at 12324 W. Camille street, Santa Ana. D. R. Payne is a candidate for constable of Anaheim township. He is at present the efficient town marshal and is possessed of the necessary qualifications.
