Couple Marriages In Garden Ceremony
The lovely garden of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hughes Nipp at 624 S Illinois St., waits background on July 31 for marriage of Mrs. Sharon Hemingway and Ray Harro Jr. The bridegroom is the of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harro of Santa Ana. The Rev. D Miller officiated before an arranged with pink and white gown with purple trim flowers were baby purple orchids.
The bridegroom was attended by Bill Fletcher as best man. McAlpin took over usher duty.
Recorded wedding music added sentimental note to the outuptial rites. Sixty guests with ed the ceremony and the reception which followed. Standing the new Mr. and Mrs. Harro were the bride's mother in a gar of lavender nylon and the bride's mother in a navy suit. Both wore white accessories.
Darlene Nipp, the bride's sister attended the guest book. Assisted in serving were Mrs. Ro Koontz and Mrs. Robert Pouring were Mrs. Ross Wash and Mrs. Bill Jones.
The bride is a graduate AUHS and her husband is a graduate of Santa Ana High school.
The couple have made their first home at 14862 Gunther Santa Ana.

Local Girl Weds Michigan Youth
After a short wedding trip at the northern coast of California newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Lorene Rynard are now making their home in Fullerton. They married in Grace Lutheran chapel Anaheim, by the Rev. Harry Steif on August 8.
The bride, the former Ruth Lens, is the daughter of Mr. Mrs. Herman C. Martens of 5 Indiana St. Her husband is son of the Gerald Rynards of Louis, Michigan.
For her wedding, the bride a nylon tulle gown etched scalloped lace, tiered skirt a petal pointed bodice accented beads. Afingertip imported Fr net veil fell from a lace cap w was decorated with pearls. wedding bouquet was of white chids, stephantis and carnation arranged on a white Bible.
Over 200 wedding guests the bride given in marriage her father at an altar bar with pure white flowers accented by touches of lavender lark Miss Leona Martens attended sister as maid of honor, were a light blue nylon net gown尔ima length with matching headpiece and mitts. Simi gowned were bridesmaids Bill Franklin in shades of red and Mrs. Emil Martens in pink. Little Misses Janette Mary Whitehead were twin er girls.
The bridgroom chose his friend, Paul Lueth of Fullerton as best man. Ushers were Helland, Harold J Kelley, mar Martens and Don Heess.

Couple Marriages In Garden Ceremony
The lovely garden of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh J. Hop at 624 S Illinois St., was the background on July 31 for the marriage of Mrs. Sharon Nippimingway and Ray Harrelson.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harrelson Santa Ana. The Rev. Daniel Her officiated before an altar dressed with pink and white mrs. palms and a rose covered his background.
The bride, wearing a ballerina out of white nylon with touches blue, carried a bouquet of white nations and pink rosebuds. She attended by maid of honor Ms. Margaret Schorle who wore a tee gown with purple trim. Her sisters were baby purple orchids.
The bridegroom was attended Bill Fletcher as best man. Jim Alpin took over usher duties. Recorded wedding music added aimental note to the outdoor ritual rites. Sixty guests witness the ceremony and the reception which followed. Standing with new Mr. and Mrs. Harrelson, the bride's mother in a gown lavender nylon and the bride's mother in a navy blue.
Both wore white accessories. Caroline Nipp, the bride's sister, ended the guest book. Assisting serving were Mrs. Robert Antz and Mrs. Robert Rea.
Serving were Mrs. Ross Walker and Mrs. Bill Jones.
The bride is a graduate of HS and her husband is a graduate of Santa Ana High school.
The couple have made their home at 14862 Gunther St., Santa Ana.
New members of the Anaheim "stork club" are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ness of 606 Citron St. They welcomed a 5 lb. 15 oz. baby daughter in St. Joseph hospital on August 9.
Joan Johnson Weds Richard Wallace
St. Boniface Catholic church was the scene of a pretty afternoon wedding on August 7 when Miss Joan M. Johnson exchanged marriage vows with Richard A. Wallace with the Rev. Father Anthony Duval officiating.
The bride, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. C. D. Dunsmore of 9865 Brookhurst, was given in marriage by her father and was beautiful in a street length frock of ice blue in princess style. She wore a corsage of rosebuds.
Her maid of honor was Miss Alice Cooper who wore a light gray suit with corsage of pink carnations.
The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Wallace of Compton, was attended by the bride's brother, Donald, as best man. Organ music was played by Mrs. A. E. Faust.
After the nuptial rites, a buffet supper was served at the home of the bride's parents. As hostess, the bride's mother wore a summer suit of grey-blue. The mother 'of the bridegroom was gowned in a light weight lavendar suit.
The new Mrs. Wallace attended local schools and has spent three years in the W.A.C., U.S. Army. Her husband is a Compton City College graduate They are making their home in Long Beach.
FIRST FOR '55—District Manager Ronald Anderson of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co., didn't wait for the end of the 1954 Orange County Fair before requesting space in the 1955 commercial show, to be located in the new NAN MOORE ADDRESSES WESLEYAN SERVICE GROUP
"Potential Leadership in a Growing Community" was the Guild, White Temple Method church.

After a short wedding trip along northern coast of California, Lilyweds Mr and Mrs. Loren M. Marten are now making their first visit in Fullerton. They were married in Grace Lutheran church,heim, by the Rev. Harry F. Fell on August 8.
The bride, the former Ruth Marr., is the daughter of Mr. and Herman C. Martens of 511 S. Iona St. Her husband is the son of the Gerald Rynards of St. Isis, Michigan.
For her wedding, the bride woreylon tulle gown etched with looped lace, tiered skirt and a pointed bodice accented with pins. A fingertip imported French velvet fell from a lace cap which decorated with pearls.
The wedding bouquet was of white orils, stephanotis and carnations arranged on a white Bible.
Over 200 wedding guests saw bride given in marriage by father at an altar banked in pure white flowers accented touches of lavender larkspur.
Leona Martens attended her as maid of honor, wearing light blue nylon net gown balerra length with matching stole, slipper and mitts. Similarly dressed were bridesmaids Mrs. Franklin in shades of aqua, Mrs. Emil Martens in pale k. Little Misses Janette and y Whitehead were twin flow-girls.
The bridgroom chose his close hand, Paul Lueth of Fullerton, best man. Ushers were Carl Land, Harold J Kelley, Del Martens and Don Heas.
Miss Marilyn Schimming was at organ and soloist was Mrs. mar Martens. A reception followed on the church lawn.
The newlyweds will both be teaching school in Fullerton this fall. The bride is a graduate of AUHS, Fullerton J. C., and San Jose State College. She is affiliated with Delta Phi Upsilon. Her husband attended Michigan schools, Fullerton J. C., University of Michigan and Michigan State College.

DANCE TO PROMOTE
MARCH OF DIMES
Public support of the Emergency March of Dimes, Aug. 16 to 31, will determine the extent of future care given nearly 500 polio patients in Orange County, it was stated today by John McKittricex, chairman of Orange County Chapter, National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis.
Sheriff James Musick, 1954 March of Dimes chairman, announced that headquarters will be established at various locations in the county for the sale of tickets to the big military ball scheduled Aug. 30; at one of the huge hangars at the Marine Corps Air Facility, south of Tustin.
The Non-commissioned Officers' Club at the base is sponsoring the "Dance of Dimes," which will feature Lawrence Welk and his "Champagne Music." All proceeds will go to the Emergency March of Dimes.
NATIONAL OFFICERS VISIT LOCAL VFW AUXILIARY
On Sunday, Aug. 15, the new district president of the VFW Auxiliary, Beulah Roberts of Arlidgton, held her first meeting of the year at the Legion Hall, Newport Beach. Distinguished guests present were Ruby Godby, national chaplain, Rita Riddell, department conductress, and Ruth Taylor, first district president.
Attending from the Anaheim post were Dorothy Bradley, Irene Brown, Emma Daniels, Cecile Baxter, Elizabeth Aldrich, Minnie Harvey, and Martha Russell.
