Citron street, has been appointed safety chairman of the Orange County Home Department'. Her safety campaign was initiated on Thursday night at a meeting at the Farm Bureau hall, Orange. Local 4-H club members gave a demonstration on safety with electricity. Guest speaker was Ralph Parks, safety engineer of the Agricultural Extension Service Dept. of Agriculture, Davis. PRESBYTERIAN LADIES' AID SOCIETY MEET Mrs. Emma A. Stanley conducted the Ladies Aid Meeting in the 'Blue Room" of the First Presbyterian church last Thursday, stressing the beauties of the 23rd Psalm and its helpfulness in our present-day living. Members enjoyed the readings of an original poem by Mrs. Fannie Goddard. It was discovered that Dr. Arthur Stevenson is an accomplished pianist who willingly took charge of the music. Mrs. Ida Shlosser, floral artist, decorated the tables for the covered dish luncheon. ANNUAL REPORT NIGHT FOR ALTRUSA CLUB It was annual report night for the Anaheim Altrusa club when the group met last week for dinner at the Elks club. Helen Mitchell presided, and heard a summary of the past year's activities. Plans were made to install new officers for 1954-55 at a dinner meeting at the Greenbrier Inn, Garden Grove, on June 14. Mrs. Anna Franciska Block, 74, of 549 S. Illinois street, became TEACHER REGISTRATION The Anaheim Elementary school board has made public the resignation of two teachers. Mrs. Charlene Franklin has resigned as first grade teacher at Benjamin Franklin school to teach in Santa Ana. Miss Margaret Ganahl has resigned as second grade teacher at Broadway because she will be married this summer and will move to northern California. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hansen of S.
